Trouble

Mia's POV...

   The sound of his voice sent shivers down my spine, "how'd you know I was here?" I asked. "That guy who works at Burnie's told me." He said. "Mia who is this?" Maddy asked. "Guys this is Tony, my ex from three years ago." I introduced. I sat there stiff, scared of what he was going to do. Three years ago, when I was "dating" Tony, he would drag me to this abandon barn and beat me to a bloody pulp and leave me there, I would then walk home in the freezing cold all the way home. Once I would get home, I would take two steps and fall to the floor, other times I would make it to the couch. It would scare my parents to death. I slowly moved my hand towards Jackson's and squeezed it. "What are you doing here Tony?" I asked. "Just came to see you." He said. "After three years?" Maddy asked. "I was coming through and thought I would pay you a visit." He said. That's when I didn't keep it a secret anymore, "are you here to take me back to that rusty old barn and beat me to a bloody pulp like you did three years ago?" I asked. "What are you talking about?" He asked. "I'm talking about the abandoned barn you would drag me to everyday and beat me for hours until you left and I had to walk home alone in the freezing cold and pass out two steps into my house, that's what I'm talking about." I said. "Mia, I would never hit you..." "I think you should leave, Tony, and don't come back." I said interrupting him. He left and I broke down into tears, Jackson wrapped his arms around me and I cried into his shoulder.

They let my parents and I out later into the day and I saw Tony leaning against the wall outside, "what do you want from me Tony?" I asked. "Like I said before, I just came to see you." He said. "Yeah, like I'm going to believe that." I said. "Look, I just want you to know that I've changed, I'm not that guy that I used to be." He said. "Tony, leave me alone, or I swear, you will not live to see the light of day." I said. He put his hands up in surrender and backed away, we went to Maddy's house and Maddy and I went upstairs. I sat down and ran a hand through my hair, "Tony used to beat me in this abandoned barn until for some reason he would stop and leave, I would have to walk home in the freezing cold, I would take two steps in my house and fall to the floor, scare my parents to death." I said. Maddy sat next to me, "if he kept beating you why'd you stay with him?" She asked. "We were never dating, I was practically his punching bag for six months. I wanted to get away but he would find me somehow and drag me back to that barn." I said. "Mia, what is that?" She asked. She took my hand and put it to a spot on the back of my neck, l felt it and knew exactly what it was. I stood up, "it's a tracker." I said. I took it off and looked at it, "Tony, he's been tracking me." I said. Maddy stood up, I smelt something, we ran downstairs I saw Tony in my living room. I growled, "what do you want from me?" I asked. "Nothing." He said. "Then why are you here?" I asked. "Look I'm not that guy who dragged you to a barn and beat you, I wouldn't do that." He said. "Then why are you tracking me everywhere I go, stalker." I said. "I think you should leave, I don't want you back in my life, I never did, if you come to see me again I will call the cops and you will never see the light of day and I will make sure of that." I said. "Just hear me out." He said. "No, I know you Tony, that guy you were before, you can never change and I'm not letting you get back into my life." I said. "Fine you caught me, but before I leave, just one thing." He said. He walked up to me, he quickly took out his small gun and shot my side, then he ran out, I was now on the ground, I was bleeding out. I screamed in pain, Maddy got on her knees and Jackson ran over. I laid still, I slightly saw Rydian walking towards the door, "Rydian don't, leave him." I said. He looked over to me, he closed the door and walked over to me, "the bullet is still inside of me." I said. My parents ran over and I held my side, then I saw Katie, she looked petrified, "Katie, go up stairs." I said. Maddy's mum took her upstairs and I rolled over to my back, groaning in the process. I moved my hand away a little to see it covered in blood, "let's get her upstairs, I can smell Shannon and Tom coming." Maddy's dad said. Jackson picked me up and went upstairs, "here, lay her down on my bed." Maddy said. He laid me down and I groaned as my body moved from him removing his arms. "What are we supposed to do?" I asked. "We don't know, Tom and Shannon are both here and they can't see you like this." Maddy said. "Your parents are probably going to make them leave." Jackson said. "Yeah, but I'm running out of time, the bullet is still inside and we have to get it out." I said. "This is so much worse because the full moon is in a week, if I'm not better by then, then I'm definitely going to feel this as a wolf." I added. Rydian, Shannon and Tom all came in, "what happened?" Shannon asked. "Rydian." I said. "They figured it out, what was I supposed to do?" He said. "My crazy ex-boyfriend shot me." I said. "It's nothing serious, she just needs to rest." Maddy said. Shannon sat next to me, "so some people signed up to our club." She said. "Who?" I asked. "Superman, the hulk, and something I couldn't really read." She said. "Only Jimmy would be that stupid to do that." I said. Maddy's parents and my parents came up, everyone started talking and everything became fuzzy. Then Rydian's mum came in, I laid my head on Shannon's shoulder as everyone kept talking. "Guys." I heard Shannon say. I could still hear everything they were saying, "she's still breathing, but barely." Maddy's mum said holding a mirror under my nose. "Shannon, Tom can you two wait outside?" My mum asked. Rydian moved out of the way, once Shannon and Tom left, Rydian spoke up. "What are we supposed to do?" He asked. "We don't know, the bullet is too deep to get out on our own, and the full moon is in three days she's definitely going to feel this as a wolf." Ceri said. "As a wolf, that gives me an idea." Rydian said. He got out his phone and went downstairs, they all followed and Maddy stayed upstairs with me, "Mia, you have to pull through, I can't think of what it would be like for us without you around anymore." She said. I moved my hand over a little, I slowly opened my eyes and looked at Maddy, Rydian came up, "we need to move her downstairs." He said. He picked me up and I groaned from moving, he laid me on the table and took his hands away. I looked over to Jackson and moved my hand towards him, he took my hand and I squeezed it lightly. "Mia we need you to transform." Mum said. I nodded, I transformed and laid there, then my fur turned white. I didn't care but everyone moved closer to me, "it's the bullet, it must have had something on it." Maddy's mum said. "Maybe but how would we know?" Jackson asked. "Don't know, but she's here." Rhydian said. He ran out and they both came inside, "that's not a dog." She said. "I didn't really say everything, it's a wolf, found it outside laying there." He said. "Please just help it." Maddy said. The lady nodded, everyone besides Ceri left, "don't be afraid, it won't hurt you, just put your hand out like this." Ceri said putting out her fist, the lady did so and Ceri took her hand and put it next to my snout. I sniffed her hand and laid my head back down, we were almost done and I had the sudden urge to transform back. Ceri whispered something into my ear and I calmed down. "Your like a wolf whisperer." The lady said. Ceri smiled. I breathed heavily showing that I snickered, the lady finished and I blacked out.
