"Where things begin anew."
Glenwood Town – is the first town where you begin your adventure as Pokémon trainer, or a so called gamer I guess. Any ways, you can get your first Pokémon in Professor Birch's laboratory, compared to the other Pokémon games, glazed version has five starter Pokemons instead of three:
Starter Pokemons:
•Piplup(Water)
•Turtwig(Grass)
•Chimchar(Flame)
•Shinx(Electric)
•Riolu(Fighting)
Items:
•Potion(Behind the tree before the area where you fight the Pikachu)
Battles:
Tip: In case you want to heal your Pokémons, you may always go back to Professor Birch's laboratory and find the scientist beside a healing machine to heal your Pokémons. (Applicable in Glenwood Town only.)

•Percy(Trainer):
-Cyndaquil(Flame)-lvl 5
Forest Pass:
Forest Pass is a route in northeast Tunod, connecting Glenwood Town and Chocco Town.
Route Description:
Forest Pass, the first route Trainers from Glenwood Town visit, is home to many different Pokémon Trainers.
