I'm Not Scared (Book 1)

Chapter 1

Hi there my name is Alice Snow. Now I know your maybe thinking, why am I talking? Or go on with the story. This is about me Alice Snow and this story starts way back in 2009 when I was 14 years old.
My mother has gotten me back from my father it was sad that he had never thought of me as his real blood kid but now I was home with my mom and away from the evil.
But back to the now 23 year old me in 2016. I've been looking for a job now adays you can't never fine any. My mother is helping me out by paying for my stuff like water, lights, Wi-Fi, and my tv bill.
I was walking down the block to my house when I saw a old women in a rags eating out of a garbage can and being the kind person I am. I gave her $20 for some food.
The old lady didn't know if she should take the $20 or not.
"It's okay. Just take it. You need it more then I do." I say with a kind smile.
"Why thank you my child. What ever may I thank you for?" She said with a rasp like voice.
"It's no need to thank me." I say shyly looking down at my feet.
"Hm.., my dear what do you like the most?" The lady asked in that same rasp voice.
"I-I, I like cartoons alot, but what dose that have to do with any thing?" I ask.
"Oh my dear, I have just the thing." she said throughing stuff here and there till she had found what she had been looking for, a very old DVD player.
"Now child take good care for this old thing. If it so happens that it fallen into the wrong hands. Then everythings lost. But I trust that you are wise in what you chose, and you will fine happyness in your life." The old women said handing me the DVD player.
I look down at the old DVD player in hand it was a bit old and dusty but it looked okay and I could clean off the dust so yeah.
"Why thanks it's just what I needed..." I say till I look up to see not a sign that the lady was ever there.
"Aww, she's gone. Welp let's if ya can work good." I say looking down at the DVD player and down the block I went. I took another right and there I was home. I then open the door to my room.
And started to see if the DVD player was good and working.
"So far so good. Now... just need to find a DVD to put in... Hmm but what? Ah ha!" I shout looking at the CatDog DVD's
"Yes that one can do! Aw I haven't seen CatDog scence 2005."
I said while opening the case and looking for the right disc to play.
"Perhaps, I should watch the first disc of CatDog." I said to myself taking the first disc out and poping it into the DVD player.
I was at the ending of the first episode of Dog gone.
"There's nothin' better then this." I say signing happy to myself.

"Welp time to turn in the hay." I say while I got up to turn the tv off, only to be hit with a blinding light.
"Ahhhha!!!!!! The light!" I shout unhappy about the bright light in my eyes as of now.
