Chapter 8

"Today!.. Today Is the day! In which I start investigating what it is Layla Dawson and Felix Ingrid are hiding!" Said Professor Sieghard with a determined look in his eyes. He was walking through the schools halls, headed for Layla and Felix's classroom with their printed dorm applications in hand. He was determined to figure out why they were so desperate to change their dorm rooms on the first day of school.

The halls were bustling with students as they were chatting while waiting for the bell to ring and announce the start of another school day. Sieghard stormed past them and immediately stopped and hid at the sight of Felix walking into class with Sasha.

Hmmmm, he's not with Layla obviously. Maybe if I eavesdrop into Felix's conversation I can figure out some more, thought Sieghard.

He was lucky that Sasha and Felix decided to sit next to the window. He leaned his head in closer in hopes of listening in on some sort of detail that will help him understand their situation. Professor Sieghard was all about order. His dream was for Evergreen high school to be the most perfect school ever known. Even the smallest inconvenience threw him off, and to him, this small incident had been nabbing at him for days.

Once he was close enough to listen, he began to hear Felix's voice say, "Man! That's gotta be the third time this month it's happened!"

"Oh come on, it can't be that bad!" Answered Sasha.

"You don't know what it's like Sasha. Because of her, I haven't had some good pleasure in days!"

Sieghard began to worry. "Good pleasure?" He asked himself silently.

He continued to eavesdrop as Felix went on, "I miss that great sensation that you get when you're in the heat of the moment. The vibrations you feel, and the sweat that builds up in your palms!"

Sieghard felt like he was about to faint. As he managed to contain himself, Ms. Pipe noticed him. She snuck up on him asking, "Jeremy, what are you doing here?"

"Gahh! Don't startle me!" Exclaimed Sieghard, without disrupting the students. "Listen in on these two. That Felix kid has been talking about vibrations, sweat, and pleasure!"

"Jeremy, I think you might be over exaggerating, Felix is one of the most respectable students I know I don't think he would-," but Ms. Pipe was shushed before she could finish.

Both then began to listen in on Sasha's conversation (Professor Sieghard being the more interested observer while Ms. Pipe just wanted to see in which direction this was going). Sasha laughed as she began to speak, "sounds like she's a total buzz kill."

"She is!" Responded Felix. "I haven't seen my game consoles in days! First it was my PlayStation! Then my Wii U+! Now my DS! My hands haven't felt the sweat and vibrations of a beautiful remote in so long that pretty soon they'll need lotion." He said, laying his head on the desk, wanting to cry.

"Wow!" Said Ms. Pipe with a grin, "quite a bad boy isn't he Jeremy?"

Sieghard looked at her with an annoyed expression, "I've told you many times not to call me by my first name while we're on campus! And mark my words, something fishy is going on between that boy and Layla Dawson and I WILL figure it out!"

"Well that's nice and all, but shouldn't you be helping prepare for-" again Ms. Pipe gets interrupted, but this time by Headmaster Shuu.

"Jeremy!" He hollered, "glad I found you, I've been looking everywhere for you, you still need to help workout a few things for this years Athletics Festival. Come on!"

With that, Headmaster Shuu grabbed Sieghard by the back of his collar and dragged him back to their office as Sieghard flailed in hopes of being let go. Ms. Pipe just stared and smiled.
