The Stars Above

Chapter 1

This was crazy. The buzz of people at the Lake Hall dorms was just ridiculous. There were young people, old people, tall people, short people and any kind of person you could imagine, roaming around the dorms. They were either students or family or friends but that didn't make it any less crazy. The boys dorms on the other hand were less busy. Now going back to the crazy girls dorms at Lake Hall. Rose was pushing past the crowd of people and trying to find dorm number 38. The only reason it was such a low number was because the Lake Hall dorms were the first ones built.
Rose pushed past another swarm of people and finally saw dorm 38. The door wasn't open so she unlocked it. It was empty inside. Rose put her two stacked up boxes on the bed and sat down. The boxes were all that she had for college but they were big and incredibly heavy. She unpacked all her stuff: her stuff for the bed, her school supplies and of course her two very awesome, limited edition posters from Comic Con. One was a Doctor Who poster and the other one was from Suicide Squad. She had gotten the Suicide Squad one before it had even come out in theaters. She also unpacked her Pop! figures. Lastly she unpacked her clothes which were mostly all from Hot Topic.
After a while of waiting for her new roommate, she decided to lay down a bit. After what felt like only 3 seconds she heard the key at the door. She jumped up and opened the door before the other person could.
"Why, hey there good looking new roommate!" She happily said with a goofy smile. Her new roommate just stared back at her silently. Even though Rose had said that without knowing how she looked like, her new roommate was indeed very good looking. She had her long hair in a braid. Her hair was super light colored. It was almost white. Her eyes were dark green.
    Her new roommate politely smiled and said "You're not so bad yourself!" And that was true. Rose had a pixie cut, but her hair was curly. She had died her hair coral blue, it wasn't very bright though. And Rose had incredibly dark blue eyes.
    Rose really wanted to talk to her new roommate but before she could even say a single word, she heard a yell.
    "ROSE!!" Echoed throughout the dorm hall. She stuck her head out the door to see who it was (even though she knew it). It was her best friend Levi. Rose had been friends with Levi since 3rd grade so of course she recognized her scream. Levi came a bit later than Rose and had dorm room 39 which was across from Rose's. Rose had promised to help Levi unpack. Levi had also offered to help Rose, but Rose rejected her because she knew Levi was coming later.
     Rose gave her new roommate a smile told her she had to go. She didn't even know her roommates name...
