After a while a Peggy Carter FANFICTION

Will you marry me ?

"Peggy it's your day "! I heard all the girls giggling say in my mind .
My mind whizzed through all the adventures I had , the lovely times with Steve , working with Howard , when I was agent carter .. It was hard to let it all go..
"Peggy " I heard a voice say quietly .
"Hm "? I turned around and saw him standing there his hair combed like Steve , remembering his wide smile , his baby blue eye .. I got lost in thinking until my (to be soon ) husband looked at me slowly and just sat quiet , and then opened his mouth .
"What's wrong darling "? He looked at me "aren't you happy "? He said looking at bit worried .
"N-no , not at love Love " I said wiping a tear away .
"Then , what is it "? He said .
"I -I ".. I stopped then turned to crying burying my head into his chest .
"Oh , Peggy "! He said lifting my chin " it doesn't have to be that way I promise I'll make it up to you I'll make the best I can alright "? He said smiling
I looked up at him smiling
"I-it's not that , it's just hard to store everything " I said sniffing
"Yea , I know me too with the army " he sighed
"But I'm sure we'll make that best out of it " he whispered kissing me on my forehead .
"I'll be out in a minute let me just prepare " I said smiling
"Alright , take your time " he said and closed the door slowly

I tried to fix my make -up and myself but there's always something that has to block happiness from coming : it was fear .
My heart beat faster as I collected myself together crying my last tears , because any money now I had to go down that aisle .
I sat down on my chair biting my lip and locked the door in case anyone would come in , I opened a small drawer that had photos of Steve and I before he went in - I mean died .
Then later a small bottle of wine , which I opened to myself and took a gulp almost like wanting to throw it up again , I don't think my system is liking any of this .
Get yourself together Peggy , it's your wedding day your new start just think new and keep the old to yourself and closet in when you need to and let in if it gets heavy in there .
I put the wine in its place closed it with the a key , took a deep breath and smiled , unlocking the door as the piano started to play .

I was walking down the aisle , smiling at him my eyes focused on him only trying not to help myself from Ruining anything ..

We said the vows got the rings and there it was I was finally officially married .. But was it really to the one I love ?
Authors note :
Yes I know this chapter is tiny , and very unlikely but the thing is (you can blame the MCU ) is that I have no idea about Peggy's husbands name so it was kind of like Peggy and they probably both knew Steve , and that's what I'll be doing in the next chapter which I think will be long .. But another thing is the vows I wanted to put that in but then I felt in wasn't a necessity.. (But it would be cute ) anyways .. So I hope you enjoy his silly cliffhanger and the next chapter will be a better one
