The funeral is today. I don't know if I can do this. I haven't seen William in a couple of weeks. I miss him so much. I sent him a letter, but I got the letter back for some reason. I get the house all ready for the family members that were coming for the funeral.

While I was cleaning up my room. I had found a letter stuck under my pillow. I grab the letter and I open it and read it. It was from Mrs. Brown.

"Hi Emma, I knew this day was coming soon. I wish I would have had more time to explain to you that you were my granddaughter. The reason why I didn't tell you was, I wanted you to become a bright and intelligent young lady. That is what I see in you. You are so beautiful too. Just like your mother was. I have left you the house and over the years I had been saving up for this day and you have plenty of money for when you grow old. Love your Grandma."

I start crying and I set the letter down. Wiping the tears off my face when I hear a knock on the door. I quickly fix myself and I go downstairs. Welcoming everyone into the house. After most of the family arrives I sit on the couch and I couldn't hold back anymore of the tears.

I start to cry. Then suddenly I feel someone sit next to me and I look up to see William. I turn into him and I start crying. I feel his arms go around me and I cry even more. William explains to me why he hasn't been around lately and I tell him about Mrs. Brown's letter.

After everyone left the house. I start to pick up and William helps me. I finish and I go into the sitting room to sit down. William sits next to me and I lay my head on his shoulder and he wraps his arms around me. We talk for an hour or two. I fall asleep listening to him talk about his family and the business.
