After 3 boring AP Courses all seniors start to head to the cafeteria for lunch, also known as period D. I look to see what there was and it was chicken parmigiana, lasagna, and penne a la vodka. Intrigued I get on line.
"Fancy bumping into you here." A familiar voice says. I turn around, and I'm greeted by Shawn's face. I could honestly get used to seeing his face everyday. "Well we are at school. And it is lunchtime." I say sarcastically.
Then he leans and whispers into my ear, "Why don't we skip the next three periods."
"Hmm tempting but we're getting that project in English remember?" I say.
"How about we ditch last period?" He say still leaning in close to my ear.
"A done deal." I say.
Suddenly it's my turn to get my food. I grab a water bottle, a chocolate chip cookie and my tray.
"Penne and Parm please." I tell the lunch lady.
She hands me my food. I turn around to pay and I hear Shawn ordering the same.
I head to the cashier and ask him how much it'll be. Shawn completely stops me and tells me he'll be buying my food today.
"If you would've told me sooner I would've bought more that this." I joke.
"Very funny," he pays and says "Where to?"
"Oh you want to sit at my table?" I ask him. "We're a bit crowded." I tel him. "We'll pull up another table if necessary." He says.
We start walking to my table, but then Shawn goes ahead holding my tray and sets it on the table. I'm literally 1 foot away when someone trips me. And I honestly don't know how but Shawn saves me from falling onto the ground. It's like it was taken out from a wattpad teen fix. Where the guys always saves the girl.
"Oh my god are you okay?" Abigail says with a snotty attitude.
"Yeah thanks for your concern my boyfriend saved me" I retaliate. Oh shit I forgot we're not officially dating.
She huffs and runs to the bathroom.
We start walking once again to our table and asks smirks at me while saying "you're boyfriend."
"Well it just sorta slipped out." I stutter.
"I like the sound of that don't you, girlfriend".
"Maybe" I say as he pulls out the chair for me.
