Sixteen-year-old Alicia Richter does not want braces. Then again, who does? They’re a big pain in the butt…or more appropriately, in the mouth. When she does get braces (due to the fact that her orthodontist and mother literally had to force her into that chair) she didn’t sign up for the maintenance. Who wants to floss every single night? Who wants to brush their teeth like robots for such a long time? Definitely not Alicia. But stealthily hidden inside her floss box (in which, the floss itself has mysteriously wound up into a tangled knot that Alicia swears she did not do) is a suspicious note that Alicia cannot ignore. Suddenly, she’s whisked away on an adventure where there is the possibility of a romance (if Alicia wants it). Who knew that by getting braces, a person’s whole life can change? Certainly not Alicia.

Me and Alicia are very alike when it comes to going to the dentist. Honestly dont dentist get gross out by all the dirt in our teeth? Well I guess that's why they work there in the first place. Anyways enough about dentist, I just recently found this book and i like how its not much of a love story but about a girl who gets braces and whines about it all day long. Well theres only a couple of chapters so who knows. What ya doing here go read this story!
