Chapter 65: Mischievous Buyers

After breakfast, Seiran accompanied Jyuusan to the town nearest to the mountain. He had heard Jyuusan tell ten of her most trained lady soldiers to meet her at point 16 (which he did not understand what she was referring to) exactly four hours after they left.

They rented a carriage with a cart and Jyuusan started buying things. ''Watch me,'' she said to Seiran and he gawked at her in disbelief. They had been in five stores and Jyuusan had gotten all that she wanted for free. She used her charms at the shop owners. She went to others and paid a little amount compared to the bulk she purchased. Men or women did not make a difference, she knew how to make them like her that they would give huge discounts even without her asking for it.

The next five stores which are owned by rich young men, she got what she wanted for free. This time, she used her sex appeal. Seiran watched from the carriage as she smiled, laughed, and waved her hair a little and the men swayed and gave a lot of items for free. 'How devious,' he thought. 'She's far worse than oujo-sama. Milady asks for discount differently.'

As he watched her chat and laugh with men from store to store, he got irritated. He hated how she smiled sweetly to them. Despite using it to get what she wanted, her smiles are genuine though. Her smiles and laughter are not fake at all. 'When did she even smile and laugh with me like that?' he pouted. Her smiles to him are not like that. He felt so envious at the men she is chatting with. 'When would she talk that way to me?'

His eyes blazed when Jyuusan talk for long with a shop owner. He got angry and got out of the carriage when he saw a man tuck a flower behind Jyuusan's ear and even whispered something to her. Jyuusan giggled and it really annoyed Seiran. ''That's enough. Let's go,'' he said and grabbed the bag with the items she got and pulled her away.

''Sorry my older brother is overprotective,'' Jyuusan waved at the shop owner. ''Nii-sama (older brother), I'm not a child anymore,'' she pretended to complain at Seiran until when they are inside the carriage. ''What's wrong with you?'' she glared when seated inside.

''You're going to bankrupt everyone here with your trickery. Enough with your flirtations. You have seduced enough already,'' he scolded. ''And don't ever call me Nii-sama again.'' He hated how it sounded. He did not like her calling him as brother. He'd rather be called by her as sadistic beast or pervert, just not brother. He did not know why but it specially irritated him when she called her brother.

''Those shops have stable capital and richer owners. They are overpricing too. That's why I chose to buy there and ask for discounts. It's not my fault if they got swayed by me so easily. Why not go and show me the powers of your looks too. You'll buy the items I need from women shop owners and let's see how much your looks would get credited for,'' she challenged.

Seiran pursed his lips and agreed. Jyuusan pointed to shops he would buy from. Just like her, he got many discounts and even got a lot for free too. He noticed that Jyuusan asked him to buy only from shops with noble owners. She also asked discounts really from rich shops only.

He watched as she refused a discount when she bought a bulk purchase from a regular store which seemed to be rented by commoners. But when she went to the next shop owned by a popular noble family she resumed her flirting and little seductions until when she got what she wanted almost free.

''It's your turn,'' Jyuusan informed him when she returned. ''Go to that shop this time,'' she pointed and Seiran's eyes widened when he saw a beautiful woman shooing away customers who were asking for discount. She looked like she is cruel despite her beauty. Jyuusan smiled at him playfully.
