I sat at my desk impatiently waiting for the new help to arrive. I was glad to be rid of the ditsy blond maid but I absolutely despised waiting.
"Maid!" I called out to no one in particular. A girl with short brown hair hesitantly poked her head in from the hallway.
"Yes Master Frost?" She said.
"Coffee. Now" I commanded and she scurried off down the hall. My head was killing me. I was up all night reading about the history of the Astorians and I was definitely paying for it. I hated these things. It's just another stupid maid to run petty household errands. Why on earth couldn't Hemningsworth meet them for me. I have things to do! I am a very busy man! I can't be bothered by such trivial things like hiring a maid! Just then the doorbell rang.

She walked up the steps towards the Crimson door of the dark Mansion on the hill
He walked out of his office and opened the door
As soon as he saw her. He froze
As soon as his icy blue eyes met hers she stopped and stared
He was mesmerized
She was speechless
She was beautiful
Magnificent
He was enchanting
Captivating
But she was Just another maid
But he was Cruel and cold and heartless

I cleared my throat and held the door open. Looking anywhere but in those big green eyes.
"Name" I demanded
She flinched. Then replied with
"Isabella Latterdahl" her voice was like silk against my ears. sending shivers down my spine with every word. I tried harder to concentrate. Then repeated what I've said to every other maid who's ever entered this household.
"Welcome to the Frost Mansion. I expect you to be up at 8 am every morning. Gertrude will give you your list of chores and room number. Do anything worth noticing and I won't hesitate to fire you. I expect everything to be done when I ask, as I ask, how I ask. Understood?" I said matter of factly. She dropped her gaze.
"Yes Master Frost" she said.
"Good" I replied. Then I left her on the porch for Hemmingsworth to deal with.

Isabella...Isabella....Isabella. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get her name out of my head. And no maid has ever been more than.... well... "Maid".
