Chapter 43
Preparing for the Feast

It is only three days before the full moon and everyone is already preparing. Diana has asked for a few more pixies to the Queen of the Pixies and she gladly sent out a few more. Diana is the one in charge of taking care of the wilderness. She and the other pixies are making the flowers bloom, on the field and also on the wilderness. She has run back and forth to make sure that everything is going to be beautiful.  Some of the kids are trying to chase the pixie as she blows dust everywhere, making the grass become greener than ever.

Cloud has told everyone that in the full moon, he'd introduce me as the Luna of the pack. I have been thinking about it and every time I think of it, I would get nervous as hell. My palms would get clammy and my heart would beat faster. I don't know how to lead a pack. And much worst, this pack has consisted of a lot of packs, and they are united as one. I have yet to meet the other Alphas and their Luna. Right now, my main focus is to prepare myself because I don't want myself running away because of nervousness. Cloud would never appreciate that. I want to please him and never disappoint him. Plus, I have already agreed with him that I'm going to be his Luna and I have to keep my word.

Just thinking of everyone calling me their Luna, it kind of makes me afraid. Luna is a big role for a pack. Luna has lots of works to do and that is mostly dealing with everyone emotionally. Though I think I'd be a great Luna since I have been through a lot and my horrible experiences in life made what I am today. I could just reflect something in my life and that would be my wisdom for them. Perhaps I could ask for some help from the other Luna of the pack, considering this pack consists of five more packs. Back in Michigan, the pack was just as big as the map, but there was an ambush happened. Now I wonder if a lot had died from protecting our pack, considering the Great Alpha was at his weakest state. They moved here in Wisconsin and allied with the other packs and I'm assuming it's because of Marcus. He is, after all, the Guardian of the Werewolves.

Looking at the map pinned on the wall, it is surprising to see how big the pack is. Five packs have united for the Great Alpha. The paper seems like new. On the paper are the names of the packs that have united. Blue Sky Pack. Ruby Garnet Pack. Sapphire Quartz Pack. Fire Opal Pack. Sterling Silver Pack. To think the four packs are named after a gemstone. It is kind of cute. Looking back at the map, it's impressing to see how big the pack is. The school, which Dave and I go to, is also part of the boundaries of the pack. On the east side, the infirmaries are located and the houses of the Elders as well as the houses built for the Sterling Silver Pack. Three watch towers are placed on the north east, south east, north west and south west. On the center is placed the Great Room. In the west, near the lake, is the houses built for Sapphire Quartz pack and Blue Sky Pack. Blue Sky Pack is near the wilderness than the Sapphire Quartz. The Ruby Garnet Pack is located in the north  and the Fire Opal pack is located in the south. The name of the Alpha and Luna are listed below the map.

Alpha and Luna:

Cloud Alistair Lylson and N/A (Blue Sky Pack)

Easton Munchester and Michelle Munchester (Ruby Garnet Pack)

Elijah Kurt Vain and N/A (Sappire Quartz Pack)

Samuel Evans and N/A (Fire Opal Pack)

Levi Julian Fritz and Dorothy Joana Fritz (Sterling Silver Pack)

Sooner or later, my name will be written there and I couldn't be more excited that I am right now. I get outside of the room, seeing the pixies busy on making the grass greener and making the flowers bloom. Diana keeps shouting orders to every pixie she sees, which makes me chuckle. Although Diana is such a sweetheart, she has a snarky attitude when you want to get on her bad side. Underneath the big tree, staying on the dim, is a meditating Brayden. He is seated in an Indian position, eyes shut softly and lips slightly parted. I'm guessing he's connecting with the spirits, which is kind of creepy. Scratch that, it is creepy.

On the next day, I am too happy to see my brother Dave interacting with other people. Although he has a sad smile etched on his face, at least he's trying his best not to keep moping around. Maybe he has realized that he can't just be moping around and that he needs his life to be fixed. I hope he talks to me already because I already miss him as much as I have missed Furion. His hair is disheveled and his white shirt is crumpled from staying on the bed for too long. Perry, as usual, is watching his mate over a couple of meters away from him. But Perry has a smile tugged on his lips, happiness emanating around him as he sees his mate interacting with other people and trying to pull his life up.

Josiah pulled a magic on Dave, making him able to see just a regular humans. Like for example, in Dave's eyes, Diana is just a human, not a pixie. At first, I was afraid that Dave would faint when he saw Diana flying around with her wings, instructing and shouting pixies to do their assigned tasks, but it turned out that Josiah was thinking rationally thus casting a magic on Dave. Josiah knows that Dave doesn't know anything yet.

The day has passed and nothing interesting really happened. Cloud was very busy with paper works. In the morning, he roams the wilderness with a few warriors, checking to see if there are any intruders. In the afternoon, he'll go into his room to sign a few papers, make a call here and there, study the perimeter of the pack land, make a few plans, and on the mid afternoon, he will have a training with new warriors and in the night, he will once again roam throughout the wilderness with the other Alphas to let the intruders know that who they are going to deal with if they ever take at least one step on our boundaries. Cloud and I barely saw each other that day and Furion was clawing and whining, wanting to see Cloud and Isaiah.

Furion hasn't really changed much. He's still the wolf that is so nosy and full of wisdom. He keeps giving me advice about love and sometimes, he makes me thinks of sexual thoughts with Isaiah and Cloud in my head that it makes me so painfully hard. Apparently, Furion has become more naughty than ever. I wonder if being in the Spirit Realm made him that way.

On the next day, in the morning, Dave was the one who woke me up. At first, it felt really awkward and there was really a thick tension in the air. We didn't even know why we were in awkward situation. Perhaps it was because he pushed me away a lot of times that resulted this. But I didn't care. Dave has really lost someone who he loves very much more than his life and that's mom. It's hard to deal with it, knowing that the person you love is dead and there's nothing you can do about it. We ended up hugging each other and Dave really cried, saying that he missed mom so much that sometimes he could barely breath. Every night, he would get a dream about mom and he would wake up in the middle of the night crying his eyes out. I told him that everything would be fine and that he just needed to hang on. I also told him that if ever Mom saw him in such a messy state, he would get scolded and probably grounded. At least that made him smile. He told that he was trying to pull himself up but it was just really hard and all. I informed that we're just here by his side and that we'll never give up on him, that we'll never leave and that we'll help him. He gave me a thank you and hugged me for awhile and that was it. Dave left my room.
