I was out one night when it was dark and stormy and i asked myself, "What am I doing in the rain?" So I rushed to my home and sat down. The next thing I know I hear a knock on my door. I open it and it was my brother. He asked me to come over. "I will after I get a shower," I replied. He said okay and left. I went upstairs and took a shower. After I was done I brushed my teeth and went to my brothers house. I rang the doorbell and he answered. "Hello Frank," He said. "Hi Mike," I replied. I walked in and we sat down on his couch. We started talking about this non-stop rain that was going on. He made a joke about llamas. I laughed and we went on and on about how the rain was not stopping. I had to stay the night because the rain got harder and louder. We started to get nervous. We thought it was going to be a tornado. Frank's house was a small trailer so it was bad for us if a tornado came. It would take the entire house down. I wanted to say that we could go to my house. My house was an apartment that was made out of bricks, it could withstand a tornado more than this could. I got really nervous then and just asked him. His legs were shaking and he stuttered yes. I got in my car and he did too. We went over to my house and we thought we were safe. Then we saw a burglar when we got in. I immediately went upstairs and got my gun. The burglar just stood there. I went back downstairs and held him at gunpoint until the police arrive. The police arrived and arrested him. Then a tornado was in the distance. We went to my basement just in case. I got my phone out and looked at the weather. The tornado was getting closer. I started to get worried. Then, in a flash the tornado was over my apartment. It got into the basement and swept me and Mike away. We got flung and we both landed on a building back first. The tornado went away and left. We saw a pipe and slid down. We limped with blood coming out of our legs and back. I called an ambulance and we survived. That was the scariest day of my life.
