Author's POV

Shawn went home with a wide smile plastered on his face. He was so happy that he spent the whole day with Lauren.

He went home 10 in the evening and forgot his sisters.

"You came home late." his mom says and he beams at her

"Where's Lou? I just wanna say sorry for what happened earlier," he asks.

"Say sorry for what? And you should've go home with them, I said to take care of your sisters, right?"

Shawn panicked and dialls his phone.

"Where are they, Shawn?" his mom asks but he didn't respond.

"Shit.." he whispers when Louisse isn't answering her phone.

"Shawn!" his mom calls getting worried sick.

"I'm sorry mom," he apologizes. "I left them on the mall." he adds as he twitches his hair.

"Oh my god, Shawn. Where are your sisters?" his mom asks hysterically and dialls her phone.

"I swear, Shawn. If something happens to your sisters," she didn't finished her sentence when Manny answered her call.

"Lou and Aaliyah aren't home yet. Please find them." her mom pleads and looks at Shawn

"He left them at the mall, I don't know. For christ' sake, I'm worried!" she hangs up her phone and sits on their couch.

"I'm sorry, mom." Shawn mumbles but his mom is too preoccupied to notice him.

Louisse and Aaliyah on the other hand are in the cab on their way home.

"Did you enjoy?" Louisse asks her sister.

"So much," she replies and hugs her.

Louisse looked around when she noticed that it wasn't their way home.

"Excuse me, mister. This isn't the right way." she nervously says.

The guy gave her a evil smirk that made her more nervous.

"We'll just stop here," she adds but the driver didn't stopped instead he fastened the car.

"Lou," Aaliyah calls her afraid.

"Get this infront of you." she hands Aaliyah her bag to protect her arms.

"We'll jump on the opposite sides when I count three, aright?" she says trying to calm herself but deep inside her she's scared. She's trying her best to be brave for her sister.

"I'm scared." Aaliyah utters.

"We'll be fine. Ready?" she asks and started to count only by a whisper so that the driver won't hear them.

"1...2..." she counts "3" They both opened the doors and jumped outside of it.

They rolled over the road and the cab got far from them.

Louisse immediately stood up to check for her sister. She got a lot of bruises on her arm because she has no shield to the ground while Aaliyah doesn't have because of the bag infront her

"Are you okay?" she asks helping Aaliyah to stand up.

"My leg hurts. Oh my, Lou. You're bleeding!" Aaliyah panicked.

"I'm fine. Let's go and get out of here." Louisse wounds hurts and her knees are weak.

They walked fast to get out of there and a police cab saw them.

A police rushed and helped them.

"What happened?" The officer asks while getting them inside the mobile.

"A cab went to a wrong route to our house, I told him to stop the car but he didn't so we jumped out of the car." Louisse explains and hugs her scared sister.

"We'll get you to the precint." The officer said.

Someone called Karen and it was Manny.

"What? The police station? We'll be there."

"Get ready the car. Your sisters are at the police station. I pray that they are safe." Shawn's mom said almost crying.

When they get on the police station, Manny is already there trying to comfort Aaliyah that was crying while Louisse was getting her wounds treated by a nurse.

Karen rushed to Aaliyah and hugged her daughter so tight. She was too damn afraid that something bad might happened to them. Manny explained to her what happened and she cried while figuring it out.

Louisse caught Shawn's eyes but she looked away. She's hurt, physically and most of all, Emotionally. If Shawn didn't left them, they wouldn't get into that kind of danger. She felt like Lauren is more important than her and Aaliyah. They are his sisters but he prioritized his girlfriend.

Their mom hugged Louisse crying when the nurse already finished putting bandage all over her wounded arms.

She didn't cried. She's drained and too tired to cry.

"I'm sorry, honey." her mom cries on her shoulders.

"Shh, mom. I'm fine." she says with no hint of any pain.

Aaliyah walks infront of her and hugged her too.

"I'm so proud of you, Louisse." Manny says thinking how brave her daughter have been to get through that kind of situation.

They all went home when they filed a case. Luckily that Aaliyah memorized the plate of the car.

The whole ride on their way home was silent. Karen went home with Shawn while the two girls are with Manny.

"I'm so sorry, mom." he said sorry but her mom didn't respond in so much disappointment.

"I'm sorry." Shawn mumbles when he was at Aaliyah's room.

"It's okay, Shawn. You should say sorry to her," Aaliyah replies "I know she's afraid too but she didn't let that ate her and saved us both." she adds and Shawn felt so guilty for what happened.

It was his fault, he said to himself.

He kisses Aaliyah good night before walking into Louisse's room.

He knocked but no one asnwered. He twisted the doorknob and slowly walked in.

Louisse is crying so hard but she covered her face with a pillow so Shawn won't see her bloodshot and puffy eyes.

Shawn sat on her bed.

"Lou," he calls but Louisse didn't react.

There is so much agony and frustration that she feels.

"Louisse," He calls again. "I'm sorry."

She bit her lower lip to prevent her sobs.

"I'm so sorry, I'm such a worthless brother," he admits and holds her sisters hand but she didn't budge.

"I'm sorry, Lou. I didn't imagine something like this could happen." he continues.

"I promise I'll take care and protect you and Aaliyah. I will never forgive myself if something like this happens again."

"I'm sorry, Lou." he leans and kisses the forehead of her sister " Good night." he whispers before shutting the door.

Louisse burst out from crying after Shawn left.
