Ch. 1 getting to know me

Hi , I am Beatrice Ashton Black I live with my parents Natalie and Caleb Black and my brother Will Black. He's older by a year. We look nothing alike , he has dark brown hair which he gets from dad, and my mom's blue eye's. Me on the other hand have red long curly hair I don't know where I get it and I have my dad's dark green eye's. We live in a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom house that is in the woods 20 mins. from school we have a lake behind our house.Me and Will used to play their as kids but we got older we have a building on the lAke where I dance and sing when I am alone. It's the day before school starts and that means I am going to be visiting the lake more often. Will turns 17 and I turn 16 in two weeks we have the same birthday. I hope I get a truck for my birthday. I eat supper and go upstairs to brush my teeth and get ready for bed.

I am running through the woods at night , from a man who wants me dead he never say what I did. when I can't hear him anymore I stop and lean over my knees trying to catch my breath, then I hear a stick snap and I jerk around and look frantically to see what or who it was I straiten up and then I see her standing in front of me and I see faint white feather wings. I hear my name I sounds far away then it gets louder and louder then I wake up.

I wake up to my mom " Beatrice get up you don't wont to be late for your first day of school."

I roll out of bed with a groan

"What's for breakfast?"

"The normal."

"Okay, thanks."

"Your welcome."

I grab a yellow shirt that say " Country Loud , Country Proud." and blue jeans and my cowgirl boots and head down stairs to eat. when I get done eating I go up stairs and brush my teeth and head down the stairs and out the door. I get I the truck with Will and we listen to country music all the way to school.

When we arrive we get out

"By sissy see ya at lunch okay."

"Okay by see you at lunch."

We walk in the school and we go our separate ways I walk up to my friends Christina, Lynn, Drew, Marlene, Lilly, and Uriah.

"Yeah long time no see!" says Uriah

"Yep how are you guys been."I say

"Fine, but better that I have me friends with me."

"Aww." says Lynn "you missed us?"

"Yeah I did." then the bell rings and we say by and do to first period.

Then I get to second period Lynn, Christina, Marlene and Lilly walk up to me
