I got up and got the kids up. August was still sleep.
I packed my bag and quietly walked downstairs.
I sat my ring and on the table and grabbed my keys and walked out with twins.
I pulled up to Ashton's house.
Ash - hey Sydney
Syd- um hey me and the twins need a place to stay for a while.
Ash - everything ight with you and ole boy
Syd - never mind um me and the kids can f-
Ash - nah baybeh come in
He picked the twins up
Ash - go in the house. I got it.
I walked in the house and sat down.
He put the twins to sleep and put our bags up.
Ashton - so what happened.
Sydney - um nothing
Ashton - then look at me and stop looking everywhere else. What that's on the side of yo face
Ash - hell naw he been beating on you
Syd - Ash calm down. I'm divorcing him.
Ash - you deserve way better than that
He leaned in.

Kayla stood in the doorway

I woke up and walked downstairs looking for Sydney and the twins
I found her wedding ring , a note and divorce papers.
The note read:
Dear August,
I can't take this abusive shit. Me and the kids left because you changed into this abusive ass person. I'm sorry it ended this way but you brought this on yo self and I know you cheated on me with Crystal. Dat ain't a secret cuz she a hoe and she's pregnant. But you can still be with her since she's worth yo time and I'm not. But you can still see the twins just not me.
