Chapter 13: Fun in the Sun & Bond Fire Night.

"Gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love."

-Albert Einstein

My hair was waving freely, as the cool air of the ocean tickled my skin. The loud rhythm of the radio played against the chattering inside the car, which helped me relax into the seat. Logan was talking to April over the loud noise and I was resting against the window. It had already been about an hour when we left Logan's house the first time. After trying to calm Logan down, making him go back to his house to change cars and finally picking up Ace, we headed back in the direction of the beach.

A faint laughter came from behind me. Violet must have said something to Ace as the sound of Shane's smooth laughter, made my eye open. I looked at them questionably. Violet just smirked my way, and Shane waved it off as if it was nothing to important for me to know. My eye rolled over to look out to see the beautiful beach in my view. I yelled and stuck my head out. "Yea it's the beach! Its beach time! Its beach time!"

There was a tight tug on my hair, as I was pulled back quickly from the window. Violet, grabbed my shoulder tightly. "Evelyn, please stop being so embarrassing." She pleaded to me bothered by my outburst.

"Aww come on, it's the beach. You should be excited." I said popping my head back out.

"There is a difference between being excited, and just being plain stupid." She said annoyed.

I scoffed at her, and slide my window back up. "Fine," I looked over see Shane laughing at me. I felt a light blush creep up as I grinned back at him. We ended up going to Logan's beach house. It was only a short walking distance away from the water. The house sat on a cliff overlooking the ocean. As soon as we parked and entered the house Violet and Ace ran into the hall down to the rooms. "Wow, this place is huge." Ace said looking into a room.

"Thanks," said Logan just behind him.

Violet looked into a room and yelled at everyone, "This one is mine."

Ace was about to enter behind her, when Logan stepped in. "Where do you think you're going? I know you're not going in that room. Pick another room." He stood there glaring murderously at Ace, who had the same expression in his own eyes.

"Yea, rules are rules." I said standing next to Logan. "We don't want people getting prego here."

"Evelyn!" Violet shouted at me.

"What just telling him what needs to be heard." I shrugged, "I got it from here, Cuz." I told Logan and pushed him off in another direction. Logan left bothered by me, but went to go look for April instead. I looked back at the two love birds, Violet just rolled her eyes and re-entered the room. Ace, who had a confused face on him, was standing there looking at me. "What?" I asked him.

"Do you just say Cuz as in cousin?" He asked me confused.

"Yea, Logan's our cousin. I thought Violet had told you already." Violet who was putting her clothes away stopped and looked over.

"No I didn't tell him. Why?" she asked coming over.

Ace stood there uncomfortable. He scuffed his hair as his cheek turn slightly pink, and chuckled. "Oh nothing, never mind," I looked at him amused. Ace was jealous of Logan. I patted his shoulder and laughed. "Don't worry a lot of people can't even guess were at all related. I had some people call us a cute couple more than one time. It was funny to see the reaction on people's faces when I told them we were cousins and not lovers."

"Yea sorry about Logan," Violet explained, "He very over protective of us. Since he is an only child, he sees us as his little sisters, and we see him like an older brother."
