We had gotten to Claire's and I was still in a daydream. "Nicole, is there anything here you want?" Asked Michael.

I didn't respond. Then he said, "Nicole? Nicole." I was then out of my daydream.

I said, "Huh? What?"

Michael said, "I asked you something."

"Sorry, I didn't hear you. What were you saying?" I replied.

"Is there anything here you want?" Asked Michael again.

I looked around and said, "Hmm... Let me check." I began to wander the small store to see pink everywhere. I loved it. It was a girl's heaven.

I caught my eye on a pair of boots. FLUFFY boots.

I WANTED THEM

I WANTED THEM. And I wanted them BAD. Michael saw me looking at those boots and he started laughing. He said, "Oh, my gosh. Look at these. These are awesome." Then he decided to feel them. "They're so fluffy!" He said.

"Can I have them?" I asked Michael.

He said, "How much are they?"

I checked the price tag and saw that the boots were $39.99. I told Michael and he said, "Whoa. That's $40. What's it made out of, a unicorn main?"

"Pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaase, Michael," I begged him.

He said, "How about we make a deal? I buy these for you now, BUT... If you misbehave at all for the next week, I return the boots. Got it?"

"Got it," I said, "That's easy."

Michael picked up the boots and said, "Is it? You seem to get into trouble quite often you know."

We then bought the boots and went to one other store. It was a guy's clothing store. Michael wanted to buy some new jeans. Black ones, obviously.

I was bored because it was a guy's store. There was nothing for me to look at. Instead, I kinda just wandered away from Michael. I looked at the big jackets on the walls. I was holding the bag with my boots in them. We were in the store for about 15 minutes.

I started to feel the jackets with my hands. They were leather, but they were really smooth.

Eventually, Michael called me and said, "Nicole, let's go." It was a small store so he didn't really have to yell, but it was a loud call.

I replied, "Coming." As I began to walk away, something had pulled me back and I gasped. My bag was caught on one of the hooks with the leather jackets. I tried pulling but it wouldn't come off. So I got closer to the hook and trying to lift it off. It was really stuck and I knew Michael was waiting for me.

"Are you coming?" Asked Michael from the other side of the store.

"Yeah, just a sec," I said back. I tried pulling harder because I didn't want to keep Michael waiting.

I pulled and pulled and pulled until it came off and I fell down backwards. That's when I heard a giant RIP. Not the kind of rip from my bag though. It was a rip that sounded like clothing being teared apart. I froze in my spot on the floor.

Looking down at my pants, there were no rips on my knees or calves or thighs. I wish there was though. Because if they weren't there, then there's only one other place the rip would be. 😳😱

Michael said, "Nicole," as if he was waiting anxiously for me to come. I knew he was getting impatient.

I sat with my legs straight in front of me and my hands covering my private part a few inches away.

"Michael," I said.

He was like, "What?"

"Come here."

I heard Michael coming my way and when he saw me on the floor, he said, "What's wrong, Nicole?"

I whispered to him as quiet as I could because I didn't want any of the workers of the store to hear me, "I ripped my pants."

Michael raised his eyebrows and whispered, "You ripped your pants?"

I nodded. He sighed.

He said, "Okay. Umm, here. Stand up." He put his hand out for me to grab and I carefully stood up. I knew he wasn't going to ask to see where I ripped them because that's just inappropriate. You know what I mean?

But anyway, he took my bag and looked outside the store window at the other stores. He said, "We're going to go walk carefully to Ardines. It's just across from here, okay? I'll buy you some new pants. Got it?"

"Okay," I said.

"Let me just quickly buy these pants and we'll be out of here."

Michael and I began to walk to the counter and he quickly bought his new jeans.

Then we left the store and speed-walked to Ardine's. There were just a 6 girls in there, but all of them noticed me and Michael. This was a PROBLEM.
