Chapter 3: The Light of Hope

Diana's P.O.V

We don't know what we do but to run away from the Bahamut. Every time we hide, the Bahamut still finds us.

"How can it find us easily?" Carlo said while breathing heavily from running.

"It can smell the scent of fear. This kid is scared because she saw her home town in blaze. I can understand how she feels." Alex said.

So we ran towards where the magician were but there are no sight. Not a single player. So we kept running away from the Bahamut. This is really weird, first the super strong monster appeared and trap us in the Labyrinth. When we finally escape those terror, now we saw the Keld Town in Blaze because of that monster. Now the monster is chasing us again. What should we do?

'Andrew, where are you?' I asked myself.

Andrew's P.O.V

I felt a bit hot. So I opened my eyes and saw the wife of my client on the ground. So went to her.

"Hey ma'am. Are you okay?" I said to the wife.

She opened her eyes and smiled.

"You are okay. Good, I have a favor for you. I don't know if I can live with this condition I have." she said.

"NO! NO! You have to live. Where is Diana when I need her?" I panicked.

"Save your strength. Go find my daughter. Take good care of her. I'm leaving her in your care." she said.

She said her last word before kicking the bucket.

"Don't worry, I take good care of her. Watch us from above ma'am. I promise I will protect her." I said.

I stood up and went outside. When I was outside, I saw my client on the ground bleeding. So I went to him. I shake him but no response from him. Tears fell on the ground, so I took my client's wooden sword and went to look for the client's daughter.

Alex's P.O.V

As we kept running, I heard the kid crying on my back. I immediately pat her head and said, "Don't worry, we won't die here. I trust that idiot guy. He will come and reckless thing again."

She immediately smile and I smiled back. 

"Oh yeah. What's your name? I want to know." I asked the little girl while running.

"Now's not the time to be asking that. Do you still remember that there is still something chasing us." Diana said.

" I hate looking serious and scared here. I am really itching of asking her, her name." I said laughing loudly.

The little girl suddenly laugh. So did I. Then I immediately threw the little girl towards Carlo. Luckily he manage to catch her. I immediately use Electric Punch and punch the Bahamut. It hit him but nothing happens.

"What are you doing? That's not going to work." Laura said.

Then suddenly it fell on the ground.

"So my guess is right." I said while smiling.

"What is it?" Karen asked.

"We know that we cannot damage it but we can give it a status effect like paralysis, poison, burn and other more. Now we have a time to escape." I said.

"That's not going to work. It can still smell the little girl's fear." Diana said.

"What fear? You guys haven't realize yet. You know why I asked her name in the beginning so that she will forget about that thing happen in town. I'm been making her smile. Thanks to you, Diana, she laugh. Now we can hide for a short time until someone save us." I said.
