Chapter 0: Their first meeting

Joshua's POV

Joshua: "Tsss. Ano ba naman tong harang na to. I should have picked the other route."

Nandito ako ngayon sa isang underground cave where the reason why all the monsters are on this world is found. And I am currently facing one of them: a green skinned, 9 footer ogre, armed with a 5 meter axe

J: "Hey dumb ogre. Get out of my way."

Ogre: "roooooooaaaarrrrrr!!"

*sigh. This is why I hate ogres. As I ready myself to slice the beast in half, the roof of the cave exploded and nakita ko ang muka ng prof ko with a bunch of a program codes in JAVA floating in the air.

Prof: "JOSHUAAA~~ MAY FINALS KA PAAAA!!!!"

Papalapit na ng papalapit ung muka ng prof ko and bunch of codes and matatapunan ako ng mga yun.

J: "ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"

BLAAAGGGGGGGG!!!!!!

"ahhh shizz ang sakit nun." I found myself lying on the floor. I must be thrashing while I was asleep.

"Anong oras na ba.." *looks at the clock "...oh shiz malalate na ako!"

And I stood up and rushed to the bathroom.

I am Joshua Monteverde. A college student with a course of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. First year na ako going second year after ng sem na to which is malapit na dahil finals na namin this week. 17 years old na ako and I was born on the 30th day of October, year 1998.

"Aalis na po ako." paalam ko sa kay aleng nora

"Di ka ba mag aalmusal?" tanong nya sakin habang sinisilip ako mula sa kusina

"D na po ate late na ako eh." sagot ko naman habang nag susuot ng sapatos

" Ay naku ka talagang bata ka. Sige na. Ingat ka ha."

"Sige po ate."

At umalis na ako ng bahay. Yun si aleng Nora. Siya na ang nag aalaga sakin simula nung lumipat kami dito. Busy kasi si mama sa pag mamanage ng farm namin so dahil walang mag aalaga sakin noon habang wala sya, nag hanap sya ng katulong namin dito sa bahay. 10 years na din mula nung lumipat kami dito.

"Aray!" Ay may na bangga pala akong bata.

"Ay sorry. Ok ka lang?"

"Tss. D ka kasi tumitingin sa dinadaanan mo eh!"

"Ay sorry ate ah. D ko kasi nakita na may bata pala sa harap ko."

"Hoyyy! At nagawa mo pang mang insulto ha. FYI lang KUYA, nasa college na ako. And may pangalan ako: Melissa. M-E-L-I-S-S-A. Melisa Valdez. Gets??"

"Wow. Ang galing mo naman. College ka na pala.. siguro you accelerated when you were still in elementery. Hay ang tatalino talaga ng mga bata ngayon."

"D NA AKO BATA!!! 17 years old na ako ok?!?!"

"what?? Eh muka kang bata sa height na yan eh" Plus she looks cute but di ko sinabi.

"aba talagang. Yaaahhhhh!!" Susuntukin nya na ako sa muka. I was about to block it and break her arm but I remembered na babae sya and isa pa..it's not like na masasaktan ako sa suntok nya with her small knuc---

PAAKKK!!

"arraaaayyyy!!!!!" Napahiga ako sa sakit. Ikaw ba naman ang suntukin ng may 4-knuckle ring. And kahit ang liit nya malakas din syang sumuntok.

"bleeehhh buti nga sayo. Jan ka na nga hmppp!" And she left me lying on the pavement.

I stood up and watched her as she walks, with my hand still on my cheeks. That barbarian girl. I just hope na eto na ang first and last time na magkikita kami.

Wait..... diba dun din direction ng school ko..plus that uniform and ID lace... don't say that... parehas kami ng school and course.

"ay shiz late na talaga ako!"

And I rushed my way to our school, picking a different route para d kami magkita ng barbarian girl. Kahit na cute sya, she is freaking strong. I guess I just need to becareful from now on.
