When we all got back to hideout I couldn't help but be angry with myself. I was so caught up in the moment that I didn't think this through. What would Dave say? I didn't even think of a place to keep them. "What's wrong" John asked me. I couldn't answer the overly hyper boy. I knew if I did I might get to angry and hurt him. "Alpha where shall we stay?" Asked the wolf from before. Just then an idea popped in my head. "This way" I stated for them all to here. I quickly ran into the forest to the big clearing I used to come to with Dave. The clearing was beautiful. It had a huge waterfall that fell into a crystal lake. The grass and trees were lush, and green. The best part was if you lifted your nose you could smell elk and deer. And if they tired of deer the pond had fish that you could see in it. All in all it was beautiful.Magnificent even. "You sleep here." I said proudly. I heard them all gasp at where they were going to live. "We need ground rules. One, don't go to far into the forest. Two, don't gossip about each other. Three, always remain clean. Four, if your being tailed by hunters, don't lead them back. Five, if you have a problem come to me. I will be at the hideout we were at at first. Six, always watch the pups. Seven, always show everybody in the pack respect. Especially me. Eight, don't mess with hunters. Howl if you see one. And last but not least" I said. The whole crowd of wolves inched forward as I held out the word least. I wanted to laugh but now wasn't the time. "Always remain loyal." I finished. "You are dismissed." I said. They all scrambled away before coming back and touching my nose with theirs. One by one they each came up to touch our noses together. By the time they were done the sun was coming up. After the last person and I's noses touched I gave them a nod to go find their separate dens. I watched them get settled before I returned to the hideout. I wonder if I had stayed, would I have been able to stop him. All I know is I had made a mistake. I just didn't know it would be that bad,to require the needs of one very grumpy candy blooded troll. My best friend. KARKAT.
