Sci's Heart

Sci sat alone in the corner of the Save Screen. He stared down at his feet, his eyes glazed over. Everything felt... Empty. Was that the word? Yeah... Probably. Something here was missing. It felt like something in his soul had just died... This party just made him realize how useless and how unwanted he was. He had fallen in love with himself, yet he would never love him back. Edge... Was too strong for that. That was okay... That was fine... Everything was fine...

The sound of clothes rustling filled Sci's ears suddenly. Someone had moved over to him. Sci looks up, his eyes being met with big blue ones. Sci felt himself getting lost in them... "Ya okay?" Blueberry asks with a cute head tilt. Blueberry's voice overflowed Sci, it sounded like music to his ears. How had Sci not noticed how... Perfect his voice sounded before? Sci shakes his head, snapping back to reality. "... Y-Yeah... I'm fine..." He says quietly. But he wasn't fine. Because he had just developed a little crush on the evil mastermind in front of him.

Blueberry narrows his eyes at the scientist. Sci was a bad liar, and Blueberry was the perfect actor. He'd be able to tell if anyone was lying, especially Sci. He suddenly pins Sci in place. He was now bassically on top of Sci, his face inches away from his as he stares into Sci's eyes, giving him a suspicious look. Sci's cheeks heat up almost instantly. They burned like fire. Blueberry was waaaaayyyy too close. Sci couldn't help but stare into Blueberry's perfect blue eyes. He felt lightning running up his spine, he felt his soul beating like a drum, and his stomach felt heavy and full almost instantly AKA, he had butterflies in his stomach.

Sci gulps slightly, unable to look away from the skeleton on top of him. Suddenly, Blueberry's eyes turn into stars. His body flings up into the air as he grabs onto his face, looking almost like a shocked little kid as he lets out a gasp. "You have a crush on me!" He exclaims. Sci, in that moment, couldn't move. His legs felt like jello as fear took over Sci's entire being. Blueberry knew, and there was nothing Sci could do to convince the shorter skeleton otherwise.

Blueberry's eyes return back to normal soon. He stares down at Sci, the widest smile on his face. He looked almost like a cartoon character... He pins Sci to the wall once more. "Well! I like you too!" Blueberry says happily. Shock overfilled Sci. He... Liked him back?! Blueberry's eyes meet Sci's. He looked so happy... Sci, even though shocked, seeing the blue wearing skeleton so happy made him smile a little too. Blueberry was just too adorable not to smile at.

Blueberry moves forward suddenly, bringing Sci into a gentle kiss. Sci's eyes widen in shock. Was... This real? Yeah... Yeah it had to be... Sci closes his eyes, starting to kiss the shorter skeleton back, loving every second of it. He was okay with this. Blueberry was attractive. He sure as hell was no Edge, but Sci could settle for him and still love him. He was okay with being with Blueberry. He was kind, sweet, adorable, and smart. What was there not to love? Sci wraps his arms around Blueberry's neck, sighing contently as two other skeletons watch in horror.
