CHAPTER 1: THE NOTE

The girl that no one knew before is now the most talked about girl in school. The girl who was an honors student is now skipping class. The girl who was always invisible is now seen. The girl who is afraid of heights just jumped off a 3 story building to kill herself. Yeah that's me, but why did I do this? Let us go back to where it all first started

Brokeford Highschool

August 18

7:04am

It is the first day of school for all the students at Brokeford High. Everyone is talking to their friends and bonding as usual teenagers except for me, Jerina Acker. I am a straight A student and an honor student, as of last year. I am known for being quiet and having no friends. It's my fault though; I'm the one who blocks everyone out. I get so scared when people talk to me. My hands start to sweat and my knees weaken. I just feel like leaving and, so I do.

 Well back to school....

The bell rings and everyone starts heading to their classes. I look around and I realize that senior year was going to suck. Already having a bad morning, I took a sip from the water fountain and get myself ready for the day ahead.  I take one last deep breath before I went to my first class of the day, science. Mr.Wade, the teacher, is known for giving hard assignments. I sat down in the front right corner desk which was closest to the door just in case I had to leave. I look around and notice a few new students and off course lots of faces I wish I could forget. Sitting in the back of the class, we have all the popular kids. The class gets rowdy and there I am sitting alone, in the front, by myself, quiet.

"Hey! It is the first day of school. Now sit on a chair and let me introduce myself. My name is," he picks up a piece of chalk and writes his name on the board. 

"Mr. Wade. Not Mr.Wadeee or Mr.Wave or Mr.W. It is Mr.Wade. Got it?" Everyone in class murmured something as I nodded my head looking straight at him.

I knew that Mr.Wade gives lots of work but, just on that first day he gave us a project to work with groups. I knew I was in trouble since I would never have a partner if I had to pick one. Luckily, He said he will pair us up himself. Sadly, I was paired up with the one person I dislike the most in school, the Miss. Popular, President of Seniors, Shelby Myers. Shelby is the girl who gets everything her way no matter what. She has that beautiful long wavy blond hair, the perfect face with no craters, the curvy body, and a nice little tan. Her beauty has no match with her personality. She is the bossiest, meanest, bully in school. She pushes everyone around like dirt. For some weird reason, people still like her and worship her. Well, some people at least. But I decided this is a new school year maybe I can try to talk to her. We worked on the project together or should I say I worked on the project while she gave me attitude and irritated me.

"You should be happy that you even had the chance to sit next to me and talk to me. People would beg on their knees and wish for me to be their partner." she said as she checked her nails and fixed her hair.

I roll my eyes at her cockiness and ignore her so I can continue our project.

Every time I asked her for help, she would diss me and gives me bad looks. I was stuck working all by myself. I was mad but I can't really do anything about it. I just sat on my chair quietly and finished the project.
