Those Days of Summer

My mom wanted me to visit my aunt in Busan , I've tried to say no but she never listens.Now I'm on my way to my aunt's place as I am listening to some music. 

As soon as I'm walking down the street just a  couple blocks away from my aunt's house , I saw a cute kid.I think she's either 3 or 4 , she's eating a lollipop and her hair is in a pigtails. "Hi." I said as I sat down so I can see her better. "What's your name?" I said as I extend my right hand to her , allowing her to shake it. "Byun Goo Jin." it's a bit boyish for a girl's name but it's still cute. "Kim Tae Yeon." she smiled at me and I saw her brother , maybe it is his brother.He looks exactly as he is and he got those dazzling small eyes.

Now what am I saying?! -__-" I bow before I leave those two siblings , and I guess they'll be back at their home.I've continue to walk until I've reached my destination.I knocked three times to the wooden door and it open up , I kissed my aunt on her cheek and went up to my room. 

It haven't changed a lot , the curtains and the sheets were as fresh as the break Aunt Jin Su made , and she shouted out my name down there. "Taeyeon-ah! Come down here and will eat snacks." I quickly fix my stuffs and went downstairs as she says , I'm starving from that 3 hours of travelling.

"These bread never fail to satisfy my hunger Aunt , and how about Ah Reum is she doing well in school?" my aunt nodded and I gave her a weak smile , I'm tired as hell today. 

I asked her permission if I can go outside to hav a stroll , and she said yes.I've grabbed my beanie and check my phone if it was on my pocket and it is , so I ran to the nearest park and stay there for half an hour.

I was about to leave , when I saw Goo Jin's brother. "Ya! You're Goojin-ah's brother right?" he gave me a cheerful smile that made my heart pound gladly.I invited him to sit beside me and he did , we talk about the things we used to do and still do.

Talking to him feels like , I know him for like centuries.My phone vibrated and I looked at it , my mom texted me.I texted her back as quick as I could , so I can talk with Goojin's brother more. "Btw , I'm Taeyeon Kim." I gave him a smile , but my face turns bright red when he accepted my hands and shake it.

"Byun Baekhyun , sorry Taeyeon but I gotta go now.My mom's probably gonna be mad at me if I don't hurry now." speaking of mom's my aunt's gonna be mad at me also. "Oh! Jakkaman~ I also have to go , my aunt is probably waiting for me.So see you tomorrow?" the shy smile on my face was slowly fading and my heart is pounding as fast as it could , I thought he wouldn't want to be with me anymore so I wanted to walk away but I was wrong.

"Okay , taengoo-ah! Wait for me tomorrow at exactly 5pm." I quickly run as fast as I could , now what is this feeling? It irritates me , but I feel like I'm in a cloud also.

Days passed , weeks passed and me and Baekhyun are growing close together , I did not mind the fact that I may fall inlove with him , even though I won't stay here for a long time.But one day changed my normal routine since I got here , those word he said changed my mind.It turns my world upside down , and 'awkwardness' starts to rub on us.

It's a sunny afternoon , I was waiting for Baekhyun under the shade of a big tree , I was reading some books and listening to music.Then Baekhyun suddenly pop out of nowhere , he brought some tulips and gave it to me.

"Thank you for being so thoughtful." I said and bow down my head to him , I offer him the half of the earphones so we could share.We enjoyed this day like we used to ,but then he clears his throat. 

I thought it was for nothing , then he face me and confesses those words to me. : "I love you Taeyeon-ah! Please be my girl." I was glad yet astonished at the same time , my heart is beating as fast as it could. 

I don't know what got into me but I stood up and ran away from him , I may have scared him for that.He might think that I've rejected him , but didn't I ? 

Days passed and uptil now I'm still thinking of that day. "Taeyeon , fix your things now! Your mom says she'll pick you up at 8." I move as fast as I can even though I still want to stay in bed and cry my eyes out , but I can't.

"Taeyeon just moved on , you did not mean to hurt him.You just fell inlove with him , even though it's just days you've spent together." I keep this thought in my head but , this doesn't seem to sink in. 

I heard a honk of a car downstairs , and I'm pretty sure it's mom.So I grab my things and get in , but I told her to wait just a minute.I wanted to say goodbye to a wonderful guy , who made me feel a kid again.But instead of Baekhyun , I saw Goojin. 

"Goojin , Baekhyun oppa ga eodisaeyo?" *Goojin , where is Baekhyun oppa?* she said he was in the park so I convinced my mom to go there before we go back to Seoul , I just wanted to say goodbye to him.

I was looking for him and about to cry , and when I found him I gave him a tight hug. "Sorry Baekhyun , you know what? I love you , I really do.I was just afraid to face it , but now I don't care about being scared or whatever I just love you." I thought he was angry.

Then he turned around and kissed me.
