plot: Tyler Oakley, the most popular guy in school, football superstar, and just between us, a homophobic jerk. Troye Sivan, however, is practically invisible. With no friends and an obnoxious family, it's clear as day why he hides away in his bedroom and avoids the eyes of passing students in the halls. But Troye has a secret ability, one he's been ashamed of ever since his childhood, Troye can read minds. A gift that may sound incredible at first but after years of hearing all the awful thoughts some people have, it's obvious why they keep them to themselves. So what happens when their paths cross? The mysterious boy Tyler's never seen but is suddenly desperate to get to know, and the popular jock Troye always feared but is starting to enjoy being around.
review: Freak will have you gasping, crying, laughing and at some points cringing. This budding romance fic may seem fluffy to the eye but don't be fooled, it certainly lives up to everyone's expectations. One of my personal favourite fanfictions of all time, it's no wonder this must-read troyler romance won a 2014 Watty Award
