++Minji excitedly jumped out of bed, which wasn't normal as she was normally like a sloth on weekends, but she was going to call Kookie again and was excited. She quickly rushed through her morning routine, putting her normal white t-shirt and black jeans combo. She quickly jumped back on the bed, selecting the contact 'Kookie' and putting the phone to her ear. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY MAIN HOEEEE!" An excited voice screamed across the line almost instantly. Minji chuckled and replied, "Hi, Jungkool."
"I would get you something but I'm on the other side of the country."
"I don't mind-"

Minji was cut off by her mother screaming her name. "One second, Jungkook." She whispered. Minji crept to her door with Jungkook still on the phone. "Minji! I'm going to Seoul with Mr. Park for a week! See you when I get back!"

Minji was shocked. Her mother really hadn't remembered her birthday. She hadn't even told Minji she was going away. I mean, what kind of mother forgets her child's birthday and then goes away on it? Obviously yours. Why the fuck had she done this, with no warning whatsoever? Just 'I'm going to Seoul for a week bye!'

"O-Okay. Have fun. Happy birthday to me." And with that she slammed her bedroom door, despite her mother shouting "Wait what?" Minji sighed and lay back on her bed, putting the phone back to her ear. "I'm sorry you had to hear that, Kookie."
"I'm sorry that happened, Minji." Minji just sighed. "Can you FaceTime?" Jungkook asked.
"Fuck it, why not." Minji chuckled, Jungkook was the comfort she needed and she guessed that having his beautiful face there would help. Suddenly she stopped herself. Did she like Jungkook? Minji dismissed the idea, it's better not to think about to think about it, it's better to block it out then to get your heart broken when he doesn't like you back. She clicked the camera button on her screen, flinching at her face in the corner. Shortly after, Jungkook's tired, but still amazingly hot face appeared on the screen. "Hi." He smiled, and Minji couldn't help but smile back, which Jungkook undeniably thought was the most beautiful thing in the world.

The two talked for a while about everything. Minji desperately wanted Jungkook to pull her out of the hell she lived in, and Jungkook wanted to. "What's your dream job?" Kookie asked. Minji wasn't quite sure, but she knew what she was passionate about. "A photographer, or writer, or artist. I'm not quite sure. I really should know by now, shouldn't I?"
"I don't know it's your life, take your time." Minji chuckled at Jungkook's philosophical statement.
"What about you, Kookie?"
"I want to be a singer."
"Oh really? Sing for me."
"No, nonono, I don't think I need to-"
"Please, Kookie? For me~" Minji pleaded.
"Oh, fine. What should I sing?"
"You know Eyes, Nose, Lips?" It was one of Minji's favourite songs, and Jungkook's too.
"Hell yeah. Okay, here we go then." Jungkook started to sing and Minji's whole life lit up. His voice was beautiful, like an angel, literally. She couldn't help but stare at Jungkook's pixelated face as he sang, his eyes closed. When he opened his eyes they made eye contact, and both fell silent, staring into each other's eyes. Or, at least the eye contact they could make through the blurry image they had of each other.

"If you came to Busan, we would go to Busan Beach at sunset, it's so beautiful, and the waters so lovely, I would show you all the nice food places and we would go to my favourite ice cream place- Oh my god it's so good there the chocolate ice cream is actually my life- and we could go to the park and take loads of aesthetic photos. Damn, I really want to meet you." Minji ranted and Jungkook chuckled.
"I want to came, honestly if I could I would, but it's tight, I mean I live in my own, go to school and spend all my free time at work, but I'm saving up. I promise, one day, Minji."
