He hesitated for a few seconds, looking her up and down like he was examining the delicate lines on a flower.
"I see a scared little girl. And frankly, you're not for me.
I just stopped for a minute, and pondered how it was that one minute someone could be madly in love with you, and the next wish you had never been born.
"Okay, I understand." I said to him, as I felt the first tear leave my eye and roll onto my cheek, and onto the floor.
"I'm sorry, Lea."
"For what?" I mumbled, trying to hold back tears.
"For what I've done."
