Me and Calum were both woken by a loud banging on the front door. I checked the time in my phone, 10:45am. I groaned, pulling on my slippers, walking out of my room to answer the door. "Megan!" Mom smiled as I opened the door, pulling me into a hug. "It's great to see you. Why aren't you dressed? It's almost 11." She chuckled, letting herself in.

"Hi Calum, how are you doing? I hope you're looking after my daughter." She laughed, also engulfing Calum into a hug he wasn't expecting. "Sorry." I mouthed but he just smiled. "I'm trying my best. And I'm great thanks for asking Mrs Green. Would you like some coffee?" Calum replied. She nodded and sat herself on the sofa. I quickly ran a brush through my hair and made myself a drink too.

"So, mom. What are you doing here?" I asked with a fake smile as Calum handed her a mug of coffee. "Well, you've been living here for two weeks now and I haven't seen you properly since then. And I haven't seen Calum in years." She laughed. "I mean, you could've at least called, so I knew you were coming."

"I thought I'd surprise you, everybody likes surprises."
"Yeah, but mom, you know I hate surprises." I told her but she just brushed me off. "So Calum, how have you been over the last few years?" Mom asked. The pair of them got into a conversation about Calum's high school life while I zoned out checking my social medias on my phone.

"Megan, will you put down the phone for five minutes and join in with the conversations." Mom moaned. "I would if I was actually involved." I mumbled, locking my phone and placing it on the coffee table in front of me. "She's always on that damn thing Calum, never off it."
"Mom, me and Calum planned on going out today and you're kind of delaying that." I told her. "But I've only been here for an hour." She said, putting down her mug.

"I know, maybe we can go out for lunch sometime but we're kind of busy today. It's probably best if you get going."
"Okay, well I should probably go. I'll call you sometime then." She smiled, hugged me and left. "So, what are we doing today?" Calum raised an eyebrow. "Nothing, I just wanted her to leave. I moved out to get away from her and here she is." I told him.

"Trust me, my mom will be all over you when she sees you." Calum laughed. "Maybe we should do something today. Want to go and grab some lunch? I'll pay?" He offered. I nodded and we both went to get changed.

I pulled on a pair of black jeans, ripped at the knees and a dark mustard jumper before pulling on my black vans and slinging my bag over my shoulder. Calum came wandering out in black jeans and a hoodie before taking his keys and driving us into town for some lunch.

Hey, kind of another filler chapter again. I'm also trying to move on the time a little bit faster too, but not too fast. Megan is still kind of in love with Luke so she needs to lose her feelings for him then the story will get better:)) I also love adding gifs into my a/n :) happy October (if that's even a thing) too!!! I love October because it's almost Halloween which basically means it's almost Christmas!!:):):)
