After Hadley left I looked around my room. My new room was huge. All four walls were decorated differently. The wall against the door was completely covered in pictures from different magazines. The wall to it's left was a giant window and my flowered curtains kept out the blinding sun. My bed was a built in loft above my bookshelf and had a pretty low ceilings above it. My closet was walk in and I had my own bathroom. My old jukebox, which was a gift from my grandparents, pushed against my pictured wall. Fairy lights were strung around the room and "Carter" was written in glowing letters on above my loft. I turned on my favorite hits from the jukebox and hopped in the shower. I blow dryed my hair auburn and let it hang in its little curls that ended at about the bottom of my bra. Putting my contacts on my bright green eyes, I started looking for an outfit. Picking out a white long sleeved cut off, a high waisted green plaid skirt, a black choker, and black studded high heels. I am only 5'3 and I'm constantly being looked down on. Applying perfect winged liner and light pink lipstick, I gave myself a final once over. Adding different studs to my double pierced ears and a Diamond to my belly button piercing, I headed out the door.
Just as I walked in Hadley ran over, told me to hurry and that she packed breakfast to go, then she practically pushed me into the car. I picked off the waffles she made me as we got closer to Rose Elementary. Hadley is 8 and has already become the most popular 8 year old in the school. I dropped her off then speed to Rosemary High. Here at Rosemary, dress code was not a thing. They believed you should express yourself which is perfectly okay with me. As I pulled into the school parking lot my best friends Livi and Cora raced up to my red jeep commander. I jumped out and hugged them both. Cora is my angel best friend. Good grades, popular, and a #goals couple with Mark Pirce. Livi is my badass bestie. We do everything reckless together. She's the type of girl who doesn't give a fuck what you say."We are set up for all the same classes this year!!" Cora screeched. "Except you know we probably won't be partners in photography though, C." Stated Livi. She was referring to our last class off the day. "That's okay because I already feel like it's going to be a good year. Livi I can't wait too.." A scream interrupted me as a black Ferrari pulled up across from us. A tall figure got out off the car. He was 6ft and had hair so dark it was almost black. His eyes where a warm chocolaty brown and let's just say "hot" couldn't even describe him. Eli Chase. Only the biggest player in school stepped out off his car and headed over to me. "What the hell do you want." I stated as soon as he reached hearing range. Eli and I used to be friends before he moved to Cali. When I came here and saw him again, he was a different person. "Well what did I ever do to deserve that, CC?" He asked pretending to act hurt. I slightly flinched at the child hood nickname before standing my ground. "You were you Dickstick." I smirked. "Well you're really good as warm welcomes aren't you? I just wanted to greet you since you did just move here." He leaned in closer. "Pleasure to see you again Carter" he whispered quietly. "I missed you." A shiver trailed down my spine and I kicked him between the legs, hard. He slightly flinched and leaned against my car. "Pleasure to see you again also Dickstick. I missed you too." I whispered in his ear, then walked into the building past everyone who had gathered to watch including his cloud of girls who follow him around. They looked at me like I just set off a bomb on the school. It's going to be a long year I thought as I headed to first period.
