Rainy Day

Saturday rolled around like a cloud of smoke over a lake. The rain pitter-pattered against the windows and the moon glowed vibrantly in the night sky.
Before heading to the other pack, I gathered several wolves of high rank together. "What's the plan Luna?" Jason, the beta asked. "We are heading into my old territory. We won't be enemies, so we can easily get in. We slip in, attack the guards, BUT NO ONE DIES! Only the Alpha if I have to. That's it. Quickly and quietly. But we establish that our packs and packs territory will be joined to ours. Understood?"
"Yes Luna." The five said in unison. I nodded quickly, then stepped towards the wooded area, shifting quickly. I feel very bad about the fact that James is at home sleeping soundly in bed, and had no idea what's happening. 'It'll be quick.' I thought to myself.
I looked back and counted two grey wolves and three Amber wolves following close behind. I looked ahead and ran as fast as possible, and soon came upon familiar scents. I stopped abruptly, and crossed the boarder silently. Within seconds of our crossing, the other packs guards were upon us.
The two men got closer to me, and I growled. With suspicion they backed off. As soon as they did, that imposter came walking out of the woods. He looked furious that someone other than his pack members were on his territory. But as soon as he saw me, his expression softened.
He nodded his head, and started walking towards the pack house. I looked around to see confused and surprised looks on members faces. I glared back at them, and noticed that they were staring next to me. I looked over, and saw James in his wolf form.
I was confused and angry that he found out where I was going. But no matter. He could join too, if he wanted. I strutted up into the house, then quickly changed behind a curtain.
"So. What have you come for?" The Alpha asked. I eyed him carefully, but he seemed a little on edge with another Alpha in the room. Natural instinct is to rein over, especially if your an Alpha. James seemed fine.
"Well we came here for forgiveness, father. No, we came here for redemption. Well I did at least." I said clawing the counter top. "Well, thanks for the heads up dear." He said laughing. "What's so funny? Can't think about a little girl defeating you?" His head jolted up and he looked sincerely scared. Almost like he pissed himself.
"I think you could. But I don't think you will." He said honestly. "Huh. We'll see, I came here to challenge. I challenge you for the rightful place of Alpha." I said with power.
"A-a-a-a ch-challenge?".....
