Planes

Tuesday, November 3

Tinsley POV

I gathered everything up that I had brought with me for hockey and I walked out the door. "You think you brought enough stuff?" Guy asked me as we met up in the lobby.

"I had no other choice, school." I said and he laughed.

"I know." he said. We walked outside and got into a car that Guy and I will be sharing. I was so excited to be going home finally.

"Too bad that you have to be going back to Pennsylvania with Goldberg. I don't get why you two or at least you can't stay a little longer." he said and I looked at him and nodded my head.

The airport was almost empty when we all walked in. We went through baggage claim and security and we soon boarded the plane. I sat in the back seat and Dean finally got on.

"Hey Dean. You still sitting with me?" I asked him and he looked at me.

"Doesn't look like I will be princess." he said and I looked at him.

Looks like I will either be sitting by myself or be sitting with someone else. I was really hoping that I would be sitting by myself but Dwayne sat down beside me. My phone went off and it was my mom telling me that when I get back that my school is on break so I decided why not stay in Minnesota a lot longer than I originally planned. I shut everything I had off and waited until we were able to get on our electronics again. I felt like sleeping but for some reason I didn't want to probably because I kept thinking about what Dean had said to me.

"What's a matter there Tins?" Dwayne asked me and I looked at him.

"Oh nothing. Just thinking that's all." I said and he nodded his head. The plane started flying and i was so happy that it started. About three hours and three minutes on this plane and we will be in Minnesota. I grabbed my laptop and my headphones and started editing the video that I was making for the team and everything.

"Tinsley wake up, we are about ready to land." Dwayne said as he shook me awake. I looked and noticed that I had a blanket on me. I grabbed my laptop and my phone and noticed that they were off already.

"Oh I already turned everything off for you just so you could sleep for a little longer." he said to me and I smiled.

"Thanks Dwayne." I said and he smiled.

We sat there in silence and we finally landed. Thank goodness. I grabbed all of my stuff and put some stuff away and soon we were off the plane. We had to go through everything again at the airport which I hated. I was the last one to go through it too. I walked outside and i walked past Guy and Averman.

"She has no idea that we like her." Guy said.

What they didn't know is that I could hear them even though I wasn't suppose to. I just walked away a little further. I walked past Fulton and Dean that time.

"If only she knew I liked her, she doesn't seem to like me that way either." Dean said and I looked back at Dean and Fulton and smiled.

They didn't noticed either. I wasn't suppose to know that Dean liked me or even hear them either but i did.

"Yee yee, say Tins, my mom accidentally bought another ticket for my way back to Texas, so what ya say, you come down to Texas with me?" Dwayne asked as he made his way over to me.

"Well I was going to stay here in Minnesota since I have a whole week off of my school so why not go to Texas with you. I would love to go." I said and he smiled.

"Hey Charlie, you think Tinsley and I could stay at your place for a night to get rested up instead of just gettin' back on a plane?" Dwayne asked and Charlie looked at the both of us.

"Yeah sure. My mom won't have a problem with it, well she won't have a problem with Tins being there, she just loves her." he said and I smiled. Of course she does.

Dean POV

I was standing out front at the airport with Fulton when Tinsley walked out. I was still mentally smacking myself for what I had said to her. Dwayne walked over to her and she was smiling away as he was talking to her. As I could hear, she is apparently going to Texas. I can't believe this, for everything I have been through with her. I missed my chance. She walked away with Charlie, his mom and Dwayne to somewhere, where I don't know. I guess it was just Fulton and I. "You going back to Chicago today or?" He asked me and I looked at him.

"You think I could stay one night with you and then will go back tomorrow." I said to him and he nodded his head.

"Yeah sure. We will have to walk to my house though, my mom isn't home and neither is my dad." He said. We walked off and started walking to his house.

We got to his house and walked to his bedroom. All I wanted to do now was sleep. I wanted to sleep my life away. There's nothing left for me. I lost the girl I want to be with. It felt like a part of me broke off. "I can't believe she is going to Texas with Dwayne in morning." I said and Fulton looked at me.

"Well after the way you treated her on the plane, she probably just wants to get it off her mind." He said and I nodded my head. Maybe, just wish I had the chance to ask her to go to Chicago with me.

Tinsley POV

Dwayne, Charlie, Charlie's mom and I got to their house and they showed Dwayne and I where we would be sleeping at. I texted my mom and asked if I could go to Texas with Dwayne and she told me that it was done and that she trusts me.

"You think we could gather up the team and go to the arena so I can show everyone something?" I asked and Charlie and Dwayne looked at me.

"Probably not, this is where everyone goes their separate ways." Charlie said and I nodded my head. I just walked back to the room I was staying in and sat down on the bed. I was definitely ready to either go to sleep or well I don't know.
