One Step Closer

Riiiiiiinnnnngggggg I slap my alarm clock. Friday morning the day I leave Texas as a small town girl to become a world known actress. I sit up on my bed and slide my feet into my slippers. I stand up and walk down stairs to find my mom cooking pancakes. "Mornin mah." I say as I sat down at the table. "Good morning sweetie. Today's a big day are you ready?" She ask while pouring milk into my cup. "Ready as I'll ever be mom. I hope I don't miss my flight." I say sipping on my milk. My mom walks up with four perfectly stacked pancakes. "I'm so happy my little baby's growin up." When she said that I let out a little chuckle.

I finished my pancakes and put the plate in the sink. I walked up stairs to my room to get ready. I already had all my stuff packed. I bought an apartment few months back. So I was pretty satisfied and ready for this big step.
I picked out a comfortable outfit for the plane. It was a pair of joggers and a loose crop top that read "Me Myself And I". I grabbed my sandals and my luggage and walked downstairs. "I'm ready. I can't believe I'm doing this." I said looking at my mom. "Me neither baby but soon I hope to see you shining bright on that tv with ur own show." She said with tears filling up her eyes. I gave her a tight hug and said "Right when I get famous I'll buy you house up there right next to me so you'll always be right there." I said smiling. My mom kisses my forehead and says bye.

I grabbed all my stuff and walked out to see my best friend sitting in her car waiting for me. I threw my stuff in the back and joined her in the front. I gave her a hug and said "Thanks again for a ride to the airport." She replied "Anything for my best friend that will soon be famous and buy me a yacht." Making us both laugh. "Well I don't want you to miss ur flight so let's get going." She says driving off. Looking back I see my mom waving. I stuck my hand out the window and waved back.

We just arrived at the airport. Kylee my best friend decided to help with my luggage she got out and took it out of the trunk for me. "Thanks for all the help. I hope to see you soon and I'm really gonna miss you." I say giving her a hug. "I'm really gonna miss you to. Oh and her for good luck." She hands me a charm bracelet. "Wow it's beautiful I will never forget you." I say with one last hug. Tears running down both out faces as I walk away.

I walked into the airport drying off my tears. I turned my luggage in and went to sit at my boarding area B7. I sat there on my phone looking at the place I was going. I was going to this show called Detective Kingdom. It's a show I will be in as a detective. As I was looking at my phone my plane was called for boarding. I turned my phone off and walked onto my plane.

Everyone was seated and we took off. I was sitting alone because not that many people were on the plane. Soon this is gonna be a long flight I'm going to tell you about myself. My name is Nicole Seen. I am 21 years old. I went to college for a degree in acting. I don't have a father well I do but he left my mother and I when I was 3. I left Texas to become an actor and to find love cause I haven't found that yet. But that is all I can say about myself I hope I was interesting. Well I'm going to take a nap cause I still have 3 hours on this plane and I need to be ready for when I arrive.
