"Cut!" yells the director, Angeline, from her chair. "That's a wrap, everybody."

Everyone claps and I hear champagne bottles open and cups were being passed around. Everyone starts to gather around Angeline who was standing next to the biggest sheet cake I had ever seen.

"I just want to thank you all for being ..." I stopped listening. The only thing I wanted right now was to get off the uncomfortable dress I was wearing. I love my job, I really do, but sometimes I just wished I could stay home and sleep in. That or catch up with my shows.

"So, Tori, where are you off to?" asked my gorgeous coworker Jordan, who apparently got bored by Angeline's speech.

"I'm flying back home and see my family. Then travel a little." I smiled up at him.

Jordan was tall, about 6'2", I guessed, with beautiful brown skin and big amber eyes. He was absolutely stunning.

"Seems like we had the same idea," he smiled showing his perfect white teeth. "Have any plans for tonight?"

"Oh, you know, same thing I always do." my voice low and emotionless.

"So Netflix again, huh? Don't you ever go out? You need to have some fun, honey. You only live once you know." He dramatically said. He really was born to act.

With the same dramatic tone in my voice, I say, "And that's exactly why I need to fangirl over all my shows for as long as I can, honey."

Before he could answer, I hear my name been called by Angeline and everyone turned to look my way. "Victoria, you are a very talented young lady, I knew from the first time I saw you that you were the perfect match for Sofia's role. I hope to have you back for another great season."

I smile and mouth a Thank you. Then everybody turns their attention back to Angeline who moved on to acknowledging someone else.

I make my way out of the crowd looking for one of the costume girls to help me get off this dress.

I grab my keys from the vanity in my dressing room, already in my normal clothes.

"Ready to head out?" Jordan questioned, waiting for me at the door.

I take one last look around my dressing room, taking everything in. Working on this show had been the best experience of my life and I wasn't ready to say goodbye.

"Don't look so sad." Jordan tried to comfort me, noticing the sad look on my face. "We'll be back soon."

"How are you so sure? They haven't taken us on for a new season." I point out.

"Come on let's get out of here." He takes my hand and we make our way out the building, to the parking lot.

"You know you can come over my place if you want." He winked at me and playfully smiled. And then started to sing " I'm only one call away. I'll be there to save the da..."

"Bye Superman. I'll text you." That boy really thinks he can sing.

I get in the car and drive away.

A/N: Sorry for the boring, short chapter. This is my first story so I apologize for any mistake I make. If you have any advice for me please leave a comment. xoxo
