Cassie's POV
I guess judging by a cover is wrong but we all do it . And its usually by action or choice. I have lived my whole life being self-conscious ;Never had a boyfriend . I completely despise the thought of love. I was an only child when my dad died a navy seal. My mom died of lung cancer soon after.
I am 16 , in high school. I live in Australia. I have been thrown around In foster care , for 15 years and now I am standing out side of my new families house. They have a son that's all I know . I force my converse clad feet to walk toward the front door . The will probably throw me back in to foster care once they look at me .
I am 5'7 and I have pale skin . My skin is covered in freckles. I have on a black 'Nirvana' tank top on with ripped skinny jeans. My long red hair - that is naturally black- is thrown up in to a bun .
I knock on the door and am soon greeted by a women about 5'5 . we has tan skin and black hair . A man with tan skin and brown hair soon joins her also.
"Hello my name is Meg but please call me mom . This is Derrick or dad . " She says smiling . " Calum come meet Cassandra !"
"It's Cassie please ." I say as 'dad' grabs my small duffle bag . I enter the house an here music . It sounds pretty good . I soon follow it and realize that 'mom' an 'dad' are in the kitchen . I soon reach the door and here the music at its loudest . I knock on the door and see a teen boy probably 18 an he has plump lips an black hair and tan skin.
" You must be Cassandra I'm Calum your older brother come in!". He waves me in to the room and see its a garage ; I also see 3 other guys .
"Hi , I'm Cassie ." I say waving awkwardly.
" Hi I'm Michael , this is Ashton , an Luke . " Michael has pink hair ,while Ashton has brown hair that is pretty wavy and dimples . Luke has blonde hair swooped.
'just give up , never be good enough'. My phone sounds telling me I got a notification.
I look and see it was telling me that pierce the veil , all time low , sleeping with sirens , and a day to remember concert is in 4 day . I smilie at this 1. because its my birthday and 2 I have been saving since last year.
"Hey were was that music coming from?" I question politely.
"That was us we are in a band called 5 Seconds of Summer." Ashton replied happily. All the boys look at me nervous.
"That's so cool ! who plays what and who sings" I say excited.
"I play drums and sing," Ashton says raising his hand.
"I play guitar and sing sometimes sing" Mikey says raising his hand.
"I play bass and sing sometimes also." Calum states.
"I sing and play guitar!" Luke says looking down.
"That's amazing ! It sounded pretty good can you play me something ?" I question.
