There are a lot of fangirls and boys on this planet. But not all of them are the same. Actually, you can split them in three groups.

The "I only live for you"-fangirl
This fangirl has become an extreme fan of one thing once, and has completely taken over their lives. These are those fans that buy a lot of stuff, as long as it's related to their fandom. Unofficial autobiographies? Want it. Perfume? Need it. A replica of that hat they once wore at a concert ten years ago? I am going to wear it. Every lasting day of my life.
You don't want to enter that persons room. It will have sheets, posters, cd's, dvds, books, pillows, clothing and other stuff related to that fandom. Before you know you have to listen to all their albums. They have a button on their start screen that goes to their instagram, Facebook and other social media. And when they release a new single, they will MAKE it end in the charges and tell EVERYONE about it. It is a life goal of them to make other people also a fan. They will go to every concert under three ours away, and stand in the queue forever to get the best spot. And if there is a meeting, they will go there. They will even bring a tent. And when you insult their fandom, WWIII is about to start.
Way of shipping: they ussualy ship themselves with them. Or if it's in a band, with another band member.

The "I think I've accidentally joined thirty fandoms today-fangirl"
This person has the talent to just see if they are going to like it, just by looking at the name of the fandom. These fangirls collect pictures of their fandoms on their phone and when they've got a new post, they are the first to know. And they will let you know, whether you want it or not. They've got a special call. A extremely high voice that got a kind of squirell sound in it, mixed with jumps and claps. They ussualy love fanfiction, anime, fantasy, tv-shows and emo-bands. They ussualy have a weak spot for the enemy in the books, and have a lot of fictional crushes. You can easily find out what they like, just look at their Facebook or instagram. They are not ashamed to tell that they are into something, and by reading a lot, they can give advise. Anyway, when they need help for themselve they will panick. If this fangirl panicks, give her/him/they thea and put on their favorite movie. Their kind of life-disaster is a change from an OTP to a NoTP, or when a fictional character dies, or when a band breaks up. These fangirls are fangirl magnets. That's why those groups are ussualy considered weird. What they think is weird is that others think it's interesting to rumour about people that you don't know.
These are most of the fanartists and fanwriters. And when you insult one of their fandom, they will just think it's you're opinion, and try to prove you're wrong. These are the ones who rarely finish anything, but when they do, they need to wait at least six months for the next book/season/episode/movie.
Way of shipping: everyone, with everyone. And very much GAAAAAAAAAAY.😊

The "Hop on, Hop off"-fangirl
This fangirl can be, just like previous one, join a lot of fandoms. But they are way more careful. They "tip-toe" before jumping in the life-changing fandom-sea (the "I think I accidentally joined thirty fandoms today" just falls in it), because they know what the effect can be. When the fanperson thinks they know enough about this fandom, their obsession slows down and will almost disappear. Then they will find another fandom, but the previous one will always have a place in their hearts. They love (just like the previous fangirl) fandom mashups. They've got a weak spot for quotes, and spend their days on the internet watching people talking about their fandom. When you insult their fandom, they will just ignore you, but their fandom heart got punched. These are the ones that come up with theories.
They hardly ship, because they don't really care much about who ends with who. Or they only have one OTP. They read very fast.

These are the most common fangirls. If you recognize yourself in some of these "fangirl-symptoms", the rest of your fangirl life is going to be a rollercoaster of feels.
