Sometimes i wonder how we supposed to reach greatness when we live in a world where brilliant minds are crippled, rendered useless, a white elephant..i ponder how we 'posed to provide and carry on the legacy of country when opportunities and jobs are given to the greedy and well connected..what about that kid from the kasi who made it from grade 1 to varsity graduation with a candle don't they deserve a shot at a life that's worth living, a chance to provide for their family huh....sadly regardless all this ,this remains our reality..the salty reality coated by a sweet layer of poverty eradication sold to us by those in power...but we hesitate when given a chance to change our leaders, i wonder have we been brainwashed so much that we are failing see those empty cupboards in our kitchens, those holes in our childrens shoes put there by our lack money our lack of opportunities and jobs, why obediently bow our head to those that squander our countries riches..why turn a blind eye to the scourge eating away at our children's future...why
