Chapter 3: I Want To Get To Know You

(Holly's pov)
When I got home from going to Arkham Asylum I got a text, from my mum. Before I looked at it I decided to order pizza and when that was done I sat down on the sofa and put on American Horror Story. I picked up my phone and unlocked it:

Mum: Hey sweetie can u do me a favour and do jokers sessions with me? He said he wouldn't cooperate with us unless u r there and if u do it it will give u extra cred for college x

Oh yeah forgot to mention I was studying Psychology and Creative Writing and so it actually would give me credit but... I don't know if this would be a good thing, I wanna know why he'd only cooperate if I was there. Maybe he's just being a pain or something...

Me: alright only if you get me a hot chocolate from Starbucks with white malteasers.

Mum: Okay fine I'll do it just come at 9am okay?

Me: okai fine I'll be there by 9. Bye.

I sighed in irration, I bet J's gonna be like he was before, all smiling, giggling and staring at me. Wish I knew why.

(After pizza)

When I finished my pizza I threw away the pizza box and threw the can of coke in the bin and got a small bottle of water out the fridge and went into my bathroom, I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I then went into my bedroom and got dressed and turned out the lights. I was setting the alarm on my phone while walking to my bed and I layed down and when I was close to closing my eyes I heard a voice...

I will always be here, I'm your shadow...

(Dream pov)

I opened my eyes and tried to move my arms but found them restrained on a dentist chair. I frantically tried to break free but, the restraints would not budge. I tried to calm myself down before I hyperventilated because I could see all the surgical tools on the side desk, which was out of my reach, I closed my eyes and heard footsteps. I quickly re-opened my eyes to see J walking in topless... Damn, he has some fine ass abs... He then started to laugh when he looked at me. He was also holding the shocker things (idk what they're called) and was starting to turn them on. "M-m-mister J, p-please don't kill me." I whispered with tears running down my face. "Oh I'm not gonna kill ya, I'm just gonna hurt ya... Really... Really... Bad" he then started to press the shockers on my forehead which hurt like a bitch and he laughed, he was cackling at my pain. Weird thing is, I started to laugh at my pain too...

(End of Dream)

I woke up with a jump, I could see the sun light going through the curtains and into my room. I then found my phone underneath my pillow, and I sat up and saw that my alarm was going to go off any second. The time was 6:50am. I pulled the covers off me and started to go into the kitchen to make breakfast while thinking about the dream. Could it mean that once I get involved with J he'll change me whether I like it or not? Probably.

After I ate breakfast I went into the bathroom and put my phone down after turning the alarm off and had a shower and brushed my teeth and then got dressed again and checked the time. It was 8:30. So I decided to go to the shop and buy something to eat. I got my keys and phone and went to a shop nearby. I got ham sandwiches. And I also got two cans of coke as well. When I was walking back I got a message from my mum.

Mum: Darlin can u come here ASAP idk why but jokers attacked a guard and keeps whispering ur name out loud and he won't speak to anyone

Me: okay I'm coming hold on.

The Asylum wasn't that far so I ran there and after a 15 minute run I was there. "Dr Cole, my mum, wanted me here" I said while trying to catch my breath. He nodded and let me in. I was running inside when I heard screaming and J's laugh. I ran quickly towards the screaming and saw a guy on the floor and J was gripping his throat. I didn't know what to do. I don't know why but, I kinda wanted to laugh. Yeah, he's rubbing off on me. Soon enough I saw my mum run towards J and tackled him off of the guy who looked at me and shouted "He's crazy! He attacked me for no reason! Miss please help!" He pleaded to me. "Wait, one moment please." I said calmly and walked over to J. "Haii J, did he do something to annoy you?" When I spoked J looked at me and smirked while nodding. "Guess what?? He has a crush on you but only by pure utter lust." J said quietly while giggling.

"Thanks." I then looked at the guy who looked guilty and was sweating. I walked over to him and picked him up by his collar. He's such a fucking liar. I then punched him and kneed him in the stomach which made him fall over. He either had a nosebleed or was coughing up blood. I smirked and walked away while whispering "Pervert..." And I looked to my mum and she looked shocked while J looked happy and proud. He began giggling again. "Holly, are you doing those session things with me?" He asked trying to look innocent.

"Yes, why?"

"Well, can it only be me and you? I hate being around stupid people." He giggled. Me and J looked to my mum and she nodded and took J back to the same room we were in yesterday. My mum sat him down and the guards put him into his straight jacket. My mum pulled me aside, "Holly, if he tries anything just shout for the guards and here's the notebook with all his information in." She handed me the notebook she was writing in yesterday. It didn't have many pages written on yet. I nodded and smiled a bit and went to the chair opposite J. He watched the last guard leave and then turned to me smiling. "Holly, can I get to know you before we start? I'll let you know me too. Of course."  I nodded, "what would you like to know?" He looked at me in my eyes and said "well, starters, what's in the bag?" Oh yeah, I have food and drink.

"It's just some food and drink I have." I answered while smiling. I looked at the table and then back to him. "Holly can I share the food with you? Prison food isn't exactly lovely." He said with a pout. It made me giggle at how childish he was acting. It's his fault he's in here. I nodded "I'm pretty sure this is an Asylum not Prison." I got out the sandwiches and cans. "It feels like Prison. Also, can you undo the restrains on my arms so I can eat the food?" He said while looking at my food. I nodded and got up and went over to him. I kneeled down while I tried to undo the restrains but I could feel him look at my eyes and then my lips. When I figured out how to unrestrain his arms I did them while looking into his eyes and I got up and went back to my seat. "So, what kind of sandwich is it?" He asked while crossing his arms on the table. "It's ham sandwich and do you also want a can of coke too?" I asked while opening my can up. "Yeah why not." I passed him a can and a sandwich and we ate in a peaceful silence while occasionally looking at each other.

After I finished eating I put the wrapper and can into the plastic bag I carried it in and waited till he finished his sandwich which was shortly after. " So, any traumatic events happen to you Holly?" He asked while staring at me and smiling. "Um,  a few I guess." He looked away and to the window. "Me too, tell me about them." I was shocked as to why he wanted to know. "Well when I was 1 years old my brothers sexually abused me, same thing happened again when I was 7. My dad left me, my grandma died of cancer which gave me depression." He was watching me while I was speaking. Probably to see if I was lying. I wish. When I finished speaking he got up and walked over to me and side hugged me. I hugged him back. "I hope you killed them." He whispered.

"Hey! Miss get away from Joker!" A guard said while holding up his gun. I looked towards the door to see my mother and two guards. "Holly! What the fuck are you doing?!? Do you want him to kill you?!" She said while walking over to us and was about to slap me but J pulled me out the chair and hugged me so my face was in his chest. "I was only hugging her and you think that will somehow kill her? If you think that well you're more insane than me." He laughed and stopped hugging me and walked over to the guards knowing he was gonna get restrained and taken back to his cell.

After he went out I picked up my phone off the table and walked out the room while my mum was calling me. Right now I trust J more then her...

I just wrote 1659 words. I'm proud. Anyway, I tried to make J sound adorable and nice towards Holly but I might make him more of a bitch to her as the story goes on. I hope you enjoyed and I'm sorry for any mistakes it's just it's late and I'm tired so I'm gonna sleep after this (hopefully) thank you for reading and there should be another chapter tomorrow ^-^
