"Honey, I'm home!" Calum shouted, making me jump and drop the mug of coffee I'd just made all over the floor. "Megan-oh, I'm sorry. Did I scare you?" He asked, obviously trying to hold in his laughter. "Calum, it's 11am and you come in shouting so yeah, you made me jump." I hit him with the cloth I was about to wipe up the coffee I spilt, making him laugh. "Look, I'm sorry. I'll clean this up and I'll make you some more coffee." He guided me into the living room and started to make more coffee.
"I take it you slept on the sofa last night?" He asked, handing me the coffee and looking around at the blankets. "Yeah, I really couldn't be bothered moving so I crashed on the sofa for the night." I nodded, taking the hot drink from him. "So how was dinner last night?" I asked as he started to clean up the coffee.
"It was good, Mali was there too but she didn't get there until after we spoke on FaceTime." Calum told me. "Well, you should've just stayed there today and gone out together today." I said. "Mali was leaving early morning and dad was going to work. I was going to stay with mom but she told me to come home so you're not lonely."
"Aw, that's so sweet." I smiled, putting the mug on the coffee table in front of me. Calum sat down next to me after cleaning up the spilt coffee and broken mug. "I need to get changed." I spoke, getting up but was stopped by Calum holding my wrist. "If I just get back into my pyjamas, we can have a pyjama day." He said. "We can watch films all day and eat junk food. It'll be great." He smiled, and I couldn't reject his smile. I nodded and went to look for a good film while Calum got changed.

//Calum//
We both sat under piles of blankets watching monsters inc in our pyjamas. Obviously I looked like actual trash but Megan still managed to look pretty in a vest a sweatpants. I just wanted to kiss her, but I knew I couldn't. We were best friends. But this was the perfect opportunity. It was dark outside now, and strings of fairy lights glowed up the living room, making it look somewhat romantic. Nobody else was here, just the two of us. It wasn't like mom was going to come bursting through the door, or even Ashton.I sat staring at her, the dim lights making her look even more beautiful than she already is. "Why are you staring? Do I have pizza on my face or something?" She asked, wiping her hands all over her face. "No, no. Just looking." I told her, taking her hands away from her face. "Cute." She smirked, nudging me. Don't kiss her Calum, just don't.
But I couldn't help it. I held her hands and carefully pulled her towards me, pressing my lips against hers. She didn't pull away at first, just after a few moments. "I'm, I'm really sorry." I stuttered. "You know, I'm feeling tired. I'm going to go to bed I think." She said.
"You know what, me too." I said, casually turned off the tv. "Well, goodnight then." She smiled awkwardly, backing into her room. "Right back at you." I nodded, making my way into my room before we both shut our doors at the same time.-
