We were Once a Fairytale

Hi everyone! Hope you'll like my story. This is my second attempt. So I hope you'll like/love it.

Watching the sun set was once our routine. But ever since you met her, you never looked behind every detail of your past. Jealousy may occur, but it will never take place of our love we once called a fairy tale.

"Bes, sure na ba yung break up niyo ni Dominic?" Tanong ng best friend ko'ng si Juliet. "Oo, bes. Wala na talagang pag-asa yung fairytale ko na pinapangarap. Saklap ng buhay.."

"Marami pa namang iba diyan Kath. Dominic may not be the one for you but I'm sure you'll find your piece."

I tried to smile. But my mixed emotions inside didn't help. I gave in and tears started flowing like a river.

"Sige bes. Alis na ako. Baka naistorbo pa kita. Pauwi ka pa naman na.. Sorry.." Sabi ko nalang.

I stood up, left and cried.

Hindi ko alam na pinapanood pala ako ni Dominic. Bigla nalang siyang sumulpot out of nowhere habang nagmumuni muni ako sa small park sa campus.

"Kath.."

Surprised, I looked everywhere then realized that Dominic was following me.

"Dominic, okay lang ako. Sige alis na ko..."

"Hindi naman yun yung pinunta ko Kath.... I just wanted to say sorry... Hindi ko matiis na nakikita kang umiiyak. Any chance?" Tanong ni Dominic saakin habang nakatitig siya sa mata ko.

"It's your decision Dominic, not mine. You were the one who broke up..."

Silence broke down between us... Seriously, naiilang ako.

After a few minutes of silence, he finally spoke.

"Decide. It's either a YES OR NO"

"Pwedeng Or nalang?" Napangiti ako.

Sign na nagkaayos na kami.

"Wala ka paring pinagbago. You're still the same ol' Kath that once dreamed to have a fairytale." He said.

"I love you Kath."

"Forever and always, I love you Dominic."

I have waited so long to have a happy ending and a fairy tale. And now, it's granted by the best boyfriend in the world.

"Forever and always"
