I slowly opened Lisa's bedroom door. Her music was playing way too loud for her to hear any creaking the door may have made. I banged on the door and surprisingly, she heard it. She took a glance at me and quickly turned around. Was she crying? I walk over to her bed and sit on the side, behind her.
She quickly jumped up and walked over to her speakers and phone on the dresser between her and Emma's bed."You're supposed to knock, then open the door after I give you permission to," Lisa slowly says, still facing away from me.
"Talk to me," is all I can respond with.
"I have nothing to talk to you about," she hisses at me.
"What makes you think that?"
She chuckles and faces me. "You don't know me."
"Is that your reason for everything? Maybe if you talk to me, I'll get to know you. Isn't that how it usually works?"
"Okay," she faces me "what do you wanna talk about?" she acts excited.
"What's wrong?" I say in an almost cracked whisper. She doesn't respond, so I walk out the room.
