"Are you Brandon Alexander's sister by any chance?"

"Yeah, how did you know?" She asked with an adorable confused smile.

"We met earlier today and he mentioned that he had recently moved here with his sister." I explained, putting emphasis on the last two words. "And you said that your last name is Alexander, the same as Brandon. I put two and two together and by default that should make you his sister."

"So, you must be the mysterious girl named Karrie he won't stop talking about." She said with a grin.

"Me? No ones ever done that before," I confessed, blushing slightly.

"Ever since he got home, he's been talking about you."

"I feel flattered." I said with a small laugh, trying to hide the pinkness growing on my cheeks.

"You should, but anyway I've got to get back home. Do you want to come over?" She asked with her smile, capable of winning awards I'm sure. Her green eyes entranced me, making my heart do small flips.

"Sure, I'd like that." I answered with a smile.

I said goodbye to my mom and brother before we walked together to her and Brandon's two bedroomed house. When I walked in, I was greeted by a full grown husky. I began to get intimidated by the animal, as it was half my size, but it just stood there, looking at me with loving wide brown eyes.

"He's a friendly dog, and won't bite you. He just likes to play, so be sure to watch him just in case he gets too excited." Divine said as she petted the dog while passing by it. "His name is Max, by the way. I originally got him to keep me company when I lived by myself, before Brandon and I moved in here. I couldn't bare to let him go and fortunately Brandon loves him too. So now he's just part of our family."

I smiled and petted Max. I was weary as first, due to my small fear of large dogs, but soon overcame it after the first few minutes. He seemed to enjoy me petting him as his eyes closed and his tail wagged. Divine showed me around the ground floor of the house and then we headed into the living room. Brandon was laying on the couch on his phone.

"Hey Bran Muffin," I said catching his attention by using the nickname Divine called him.

He glanced over and his eyes widened in surprise when he saw me. "Hey, how are you?" He asked as he got up from the couch and hugged me.

"I'm good, how about you?" I asked with a smile.

"I'm good too," He replied casually.

"That's good, and I've heard you've been talking about me ever since you got home?" I smirked, playfully crossing my arms and raising my eyebrows at him.

"Oh, yeah. You're just really cool, and you're funny. And you're good company," He mumbled while he scratched his neck nervously.

"Don't worry, I thought it was rather flattering," I said with a smile which he returns.

We headed upstairs to his room, which was filled with collectables; they ranged from vinyl pops to collectors edition items from video games. It was amazing. I only had a few vinyl pops which showed he clearly was a bigger nerd than me, or maybe just had more money to spend.

"You like it?" He asked with a grin.

"I love it..." I said, trailing off as I continued to admire the walls of posters and shelves of collectables.

"That's good, you can have something if you like. Consider it my gift of gratitude for our friendship."

"Really? Yay!" I exclaimed with excitement. I went up to his shelf and picked out a Flash figure that didn't have a mask covering it's face; it looked like a vinyl version of Brandon.
