Connors POV

Thinking back moving was one of the worst things that had ever happened to me. I mean sure I met the love of my life but I lost more than I gained. But I guess that's just how life works. It gives us a chance to discover who we need and who we don't. In my case I guess I don't need much.

It was the first day of school in my new home. To say the least I was terrified. I always loved my friends back in Minnesota and to move all the to Australia really fucked me up. The sound of my sisters shouts filled my ears telling me to wake up. I looked up to see her outside my door.
"Morning." I greeted her, my voice gravelly from sleeping.
"Good morning Con." Nicola replied, before she skipped off most likely to get ready.
I reluctantly got out of bed and sighed. At least the house was cool. It wasn't too big but it was nothing worse than your average suburban home. I threw on my clothes and headed for downstairs.
"Hurry up and have breakfast Connor you'll be late." My mother said, kissing my forehead before she turned back to continue cooking.
"Whatcha cookin?" I asked.
She turned and looked at me with an unimpressed expression.
"Eggs for your father, there's toast in the cupboard you can help yourself." Mum replied as I groaned at her.

Despite my complaints I ended up having toast and headed out the door after I had brushed my teeth. My siblings chatted behind me as I plugged in my music and walked to the pace of the song. After a few songs I felt a tap on my shoulder.
Stood behind me was the most beautiful human being I had ever seen.
