Valentines Day

My eyes fluttered open and met a beam of sunlight streaming in from the slightly open blind. I smiled to myself and stretched.

I suddenly realised that I shouldn't be able to do that, not without hitting my boyfriend Niall in the face.

I looked around trying to find him, but he wasn't in the bedroom.

A piece of paper caught my eye and I looked at it curiously. It was a note and it was addressed to me.

I admired my name on the front, written in a messy handwriting that I would know anywhere, before opening it up to the actual letter. I smiled as I started reading.

Happy Valentines day princess!

No I didn't forget and yes I have something special planned. I hope you are up for an adventure!

I am not in the house so don't bother looking for me; my whereabouts is hidden in clues scattered around various places.

Each clue contains a question that will lead you to the next one.

I giggled and smiled at the note. He was so cute! I was really curious as to the whole adventure, and I was looking forward to getting started. My eyes scanned down to the post script at the bottom of the letter.

The first item of clothing you ever borrowed from me to wear! x

My mind raced back, trying to remember, as I stood up and headed into the wardrobe.

The huge walk-in contained so many different items of Niall's clothing that I had worn, but what was the first?

I scanned the shelves just as I remembered. Niall's ever so famous SnapBack!

I stole it from him when we went to the Coldplay concert where we first met.

I scanned the rows of hats.

Man! He has more hats than I have shoes, and that's saying something!

My eyes landed on a particular green one and I picked it up. Underneath it lay another note.

I laughed in excitement as I opened the draw. In it, sat a nearly wrapped present. I quickly pulled off the wrapping to find a brand new dress and shoes.

They were so pretty! I quickly changed into the aqua t-shirt dress and slipped on the comfy, brand new black gladiator sandals. It was perfect.

Smiling to myself, I headed off for the next clue.

I knew the answer straight away; it was a toothbrush.

Sure enough, once I entered the bathroom, I could see a little note sticky taped to my brush.

I pulled it off carefully and read Niall's scrawny writing once again.

I knew you would get that one! I hope you are loving your new outfit, I can't wait to see how gorgeous you look in it!

I frowned at the riddle.

It was a bit depressing to put that in the middle of a Valentines Day hunt, but I guess it's supposed to highlight both the good and the bad in a relationship. Niall and I have fought through no matter what.
