"Woah, woah. Who are you guys?""It's okay, we are from the Federal Bureau of Investigation."
"Badges?"
"Ofcourse." Those hot smirks will appear onto their lips everytime as the two brothers look at each other and they get out their badges. "I'm Agent Smith, this is Agent Jared." The one with the curly locks pointed at his brother, "We're here for the report about a missing person?"
The police officer nodded and turned, as the brother walk behind him towards a female person, crying her eyes out. "I told you before," She screamed at the cops, "I don't even know what happened!"
"May we?" Niall asked, and the cops nodded, sighing out relief as they walked away. They both smiled at the girl, "Can you tell us exactly what happened?"
"If you're about to say I'm a murderer..." She says, tossing her hair back, "I told everyone I didn't do anything, but still, they think I did this!"
"Don't worry ma'am, we are a little different than the others...and we have heard weirder things. We don't blame the first person we see, but usually the one who seems to know more about the issues." Harry explains the girl, "We promise we won't make a big deal of it. But we need explanations here."
The girl sniffed and wiped her eyes, Niall handing her a tissue. "Thanks," She whispers, "So, what happened is; I woke up into my bed, but it seemed like there was this emptiness next to me. Usually, Alex always lies near me, sleeping peacefully, and I'm the one who wakes up and kisses his forehead, makes breakfast, and then he wakes up."
"Well, there could be a possibility he's gone for just this once?" Niall says, "Going out to the grocery store?" He cocks his eyebrow up.
"Yes and that's why he never picked up my phone calls and stayed away for ten hours just to go get some groceries?" She asks, sassily and Harry felt like he was going to shoot into a laugh, Niall shaking his head and sighing. "I've been searching hours for him, going around the town and screaming like an idiot for his name...I even asked strangers if they hadn't seen him, but nothing. I've done so much,"
"Hasn't your man been somewhere else these past couple of days? Months maybe?" Harry asks, tilting his head. "Perhaps you have seen a different and abnormal attitude of your husband, like messages from his phone coming from other women maybe?"
"You mean..." She frowns and the brother's look at each other before nodding, "No! He wouldn't cheat on me! I and Alex have a family, a daughter, and he would never leave us alone. He loves Fay, you don't know what he does everyday. He even spends more time with her then me!" She screams, and starts crying again.
The brother's sigh both. "Excuse us," They both turn and walk together, "So, what do you think?"
"What I think?" Niall asks, stops and frowns at Harry. He huff's, "We should ask the daughter. That woman is getting to my nerves already!"
Harry laughs, "Yeah, but what do you think? Would Fay's father be missing? I mean, he could pretty much be doing anything. Everything is possible. But it's not possible the police couldn't find a damn trace,"
They walk in silence, thinking. "Or..." Niall stops in front of Harry, "He actually wanted this."
"Nah," Harry shakes his head, "You heard what the woman said. Her husband Alex wouldn't leave just like that. It appears to be a very strong bond with the father and the kid, but it also can be wrong. You see, people change. He might be spending time with Fay, but that doesn't show us anything." He points out, "He could be pretending."
"And when he feels like he's done with pretending, and loving his family, he leaves at the right time. No talking, no leaving a clue, nothing..."
"Exactly!" Harry says, "And that's a possibility."
They walk together in silence towards the daughter, sitting with a cop onto a police car, obviously talking about something. "...and my father was always there for me, I mean we had a strong bond and we told each other secrets that no one else knew about. It would look more like two school girls becoming besties with each other and gossiping about boys, but then it wasn't really about boys." She explains to the cop, her eyebrows furrowing slightly as she sniffs. "About family things...about things I never knew existed."
"What things?" Niall asked, causing the cop and Fay to look at them astonished. "It's okay," They showed their badges, "You can tell us." they both stepped towards the daughter making the cop stand up and walk to the others.
"I...can't." She whispered, looking down at her feet, making circles into the dirt with her shoe. Harry and Niall both frowned and looked at each other. "Well..." Harry sighs, "You could at least tell us why not."
"Because it was something between me and my dad, okay?" The girl said through gritted teeth, tears trickling down her face making Niall and Harry both regret it again. They sighed, knowing that this wasn't getting them anywhere, so instead Harry grabbed her hand and put a piece of paper into her hand. His green eyes looked at her as her hazel's looked down at her hand in shock. "Call us if you think you can help us find your dad back, okay?" He whispers, and they both walk away with a slight nod, back towards their car.
