Leonie pov

Whatching the rain fall down outside your window gives you a serene feeling, doesn't it? It does for me. Hearing the pitter-patter just calms my nerves, and seeing the sky shows me that the world doesn't always hide it's colors. Somtimes she show us what the world is really like, a puddle of tears, But we never listen, to her, to the rain, to the screams of somthing trying to get out. We lock it inside ourselfs, we muffle the screams behind a mask, a wall, a smile. A rainbow.
We hate it when the rainbow starts to fade or the mask cracks. When a little piece of the real you leaks out. But the mask keeps cracking, till all that's holding it in place is duct-tape. Till the wall that keeps the tears at bay can barley support itself.
Still you play the part, you act strong, you pretend to brush off the hurtful things. You run around with a smile and a rainbow, while you are killing yourself on the inside. While that little voice inside your head tears you apart. That one voice that sounds suspiciously like the one who hurts you most in life. That voice is there. Beating you till your black and blue, until your bleeding....and then before you know it your dieing.
"Leonie! What are you still doing up there? It's time for school! Your bus will be here any second now!"
I was brought out of my thoughts by my mom calling up the stairs.
"Ya, ya, i'm movin'!" I replied.
That was kinda a lie cause after I got dressed. I just kinda flooped down on the bed and stared at the rain outside my window, letting myself get lost in thought.
"(Blows raspberry) Guess I should get out of this bed....." I said to myself
"Leonie, you better not still be lying in that bed of yours!"
"But Mom! It's so confy!"
"Leonie! Get you behind out of that bed and down these steps now! Your bus is going to be here any minute now!"
"Ugh. I'm moving!"
"That's what you said a minute ago." I hear my mom mumble as I make my way down stairs.
"Heard that" I told her, she just gave me that look. You know the one that mom's have that no one else can replicate. The one that tells you that your a step from to far? Yep that one.
"That's my que to leave. Bye Mommy I love you." And, yes I call my Mom Mommy, so what? Deal with it you bimbos. Oh I forgot to tell you what I'm wearing. Not that it's really interesting but, I have some sneakers on, and my favorite black skinny jeans. Also a school spirt shirt....only cause it's spirit week. Go walrus's? Anyway that's the outfit i'm wearing today. Yippi, (for anyone who didn't cacth that, it's called sarcasm).
"You better be headin' out that door little lady."
"I am, I am. Goodbye Mother dearest." I said in a weird accent. She doesn't like it when I randomly start using a accent so I use it to annoy her every once in a while.
* evil laughter echoing in the distance *
I never take it to far though. I may be 14 but my Mom is a firm believer in spankings. Send shivers of DISGUST and only disgust down my spine. For all you dirty minded buttholes.
"Leonie were you even listening to me?" Said somone to my left
"Yes...wait no wait who's talking to me?" I looked around and noticed that I was already at the bus stop. When did that happen? And apparently Jen decided she was bored enough to talk to me today. Cause there she is with that 'I'm better then you bish' look on her face.
"I was trying to talk to you but you were rudely ignoring me"
"Sorry I was lost in thought" I apologetically told her.
"Huph"
"What did you want to tell me?"
"It's no use to tell you now, it's not like you'll give me the attention I need"
"You...need?"
"Well of course I need attention it's essential to child development. Well your to stupid to know that. Mabye you didn't get enough attention as a kid, with no Dad and all. You know my Dad always gave me all of his attention. Every. Single. Bit. Of his attention." She pucuated every word
"You know your 16 right?"
"What?" She responded, clearly caught off guard.
"At the age of 16 your brain has officially reached it's adolescent stage and is no longer dependent on things that were essential duri g child development. Enless of couse your telling me that your brain is under matured? Then mabye the need would be understandable but, if I remember from our last conversation ypu told me that now tht your....16....you can get your divers license. So your etheir lieing by telling me that you are 16.... Or your lieing to everyone by saying you are smart enough to be in 10th grade."
Jen looked completely speachless
"How do you even know that? Your supposed to be the stupid" she told me.
"Well being 14 in 10th grade does make me pretty stupid" i said with a smirk on my face
Jen's face got all red, she looked really mad, but she didn't say a thing. Just walked away.....stomping seems more appropriate.

*how did I do?
