It was a beautiful summers day, perfect for a beach adventure. I leaped out of bed; I legged it into mommy and daddy's room.
I yelled," Mommy, Daddy get up! Get up!"
Daddy yawned,"Morning sweetie."
Mommy didn't wake up from my screams since she was a heavy sleeper.
"Daddy can we go adventure the beach?" I asked.
"Of course we can!" Daddy said happily. I was smiling. I got dressed in my stunning Summers dress.
My daddy was ready as was I, so we raced outside to the beach. Daddy showed me how to build a sandcastle, I was amazed. After that he put me on his broad shoulders and walked in the sea with me.
After a few hours of playing, something happened...
My daddy was on the floor not responding, he was unconscious.
I screamed at the top of my lungs,"SOMEBODY HELP MY DADDY! MOMMY!" Not a single person came over to help.
An hour had passed, I saw my mommy burst through the front door to our house. "HONEY WHAT HAPPENED!?" She said with a concerned look. I was too busy looking at my daddy to answer. I began to cry, I thought my daddy was gone forever.
A few minutes had gone, an ambulance came to get my daddy and rescue him. In my opinion, they were heroes.
My mommy asked to come with them, however the driver said no. My mommy and this driver argued until my mommy finally gave in.
She escorted me inside, I was sad.
"Mommy when will daddy come home?" I questioned.
"I'm not sure..." My mommy mumbled.
It had been a few days since my daddy's incident, we were worried sick. Finally, my mommy got a call from the doctors.
"Hello, is this Mrs Bates?" Asked the doctor.
"Yes, is David Bates ok?" My mother said whilst trembling.
"M'am, he's going to have an operation; I'm afraid it's fatal..." The doctor explained.
My mommy dropped the phone, I asked what was wrong but she cried, I knew something wasn't right so I hugged her. I comforted her,"Mommy, daddy will be fine."
My mommy looked at me and smiled through her tears of pain.
Sadly, we weren't allowed to visit daddy.
It was the day of my daddy's operation, I had no clue. I didn't know my daddy could die. My mommy got a call from the hospital that said he passed away...
From that day on, my mom became an acholic. I had to look after her. I cried when I found out my daddy died but I knew he'd always be watching me in heaven...
