4:30. Pm

I just moved into this house and it's huge. I think I'll get lost in this place today. This neighborhood is very nice. A lot of wonderful houses, nice cars, nicely cut grass,and beautiful flowers.
I was snapped out of my thoughts by my mom waving her hand in front of my face. "Will you help me with the boxes?" my mom asked smiling. "Uhh of course" I said walking to the truck.

While I was helping moving stuff in, I spotted a boy coming out his house next door. He was a caramel complexion with shoulder length curly hair. I was so caught up looking at him that he caught me. Embarrassed, I looked away finishing up what I was doing.

So we're done unpacking our stuff. Today has been pretty long and tiring. It's almost time for me to go to bed so I do my night routine. After I'm done with that I get into bed. I just lay there thinking back to when I saw that boy.

I drift off in my thoughts...Will I ever make friends? True friends. Real friends. Will I stop getting hurt? Can I be happy for once?and not cry every single time I get walked all over. I just wish that I could make good friends...at least one. Hopefully I make a friend soon. Maybe that boy...

Bang! Bang! Bang!

"Auzy sweetheart, please get up!"

I woke up to my mom yelling my name and banging on my door. "Go away!" I yell back, putting my pillow over my face. My mom bangs on the door again this time louder. I snatched my cover off of me throwing my pillow across the room. "I'm up, I'm up!" I cried.

Then she bust in my door. "Come on young lady. Do what you got to do then come downstairs to eat breakfast. Make sure you make it fast, our next door neighbors invited us over. This makes me freeze.

"What?" I ask barely audible.

"Hurry up girly!" My mom said leaving my room.

I fixed my bed then headed into the bathroom. I freshened up then went into my walk in closet. I picked out a pink sundress and white sandals. I walk back in my bathroom to do my hair. "What hairstyle can I do with all this hair?" I ask myself.

I snapped my fingers knowing what I'm going to do to my hair. I start curling my hair. Once I'm done I put my white headband on. Next I put on a bit of makeup. I put some mascara on, I guess to make my hazel eyes stand out but they already do. Then, I put on some lip gloss. Finally I put on my jewelry then spray on some perfume.

Satisfied with how I look. I grab my phone running out my room. I speed to the kitchen ready to eat. "Well you look beautiful as always." My mom complimented. "Thank you mom." I kiss her cheek.

We're walking over to our neighbors house now. My mom knocked on the door smiling wide. She turned to me, "how do I look?" I laugh at her question. "You look fine-" I was cut off by the door being opened.

When I look to go see who it was I instantly froze. It was him...

I just kept looking at him. He was looking confused but he put on a smile. His smile is beautiful and his eyes are- wait snap out of it Auzy.

A pretty women walked up behind him. Once she saw who we were she greeted us. "Oh hello, y'all can come in!" We walked in and sat in the living room.

"Hello Katherine, you have a very lovely home." My mom said in awe.
"Thank you hun." said Ms.Katherine.

I just sit here awkwardly listening. My mom looks at me then says, "Oh um this is my daughter I was telling you about, say hi Auzy." I look at my mom then said "hi". "Well hello Auzy, your a very pretty girl." Ms.Katherine said.

This makes me look down and smile. "Thank you Ms.Katherine." "You're welcome darling and please call me Kate, oh this is my son Michael." She points to the boy next to her, that I now know as Michael.

Michael looks right at me. Wow his eyes are amazing. He gives me a smile. "Hi" he says. His voice is so gentle.

"Y'all can get to know each other while me and your mom talk honey" Kate looks at Michael and I. Michael looked at me.

Oh my...
