The Checklist

Annie's POV

-So the meadow...- Finnick says

We are hidden inside the music classroom. I am friend with the school's concierge so he lent me the keys.

-Great. When they're gone we go on my car and we'll get to the meadow before them, and so we do the magic- Finnick says
-Umm I think we already help them. Don't you think they can handle it from here?- I say
-Maybe. But we have to be sure-
-Why are you so interest in this?- I asked
-...Well...- he scretches his neck before going on- Ught! Ok. I'll tell you, just because I trust you.-

I nodded

-... Well, it's for Peeta, I mean... Girls always look for him but he had never looked at girl with the eyes he looks at Katniss... I don't know if you understand.-
-Yeah! Of course I do! And I think what you are doing is really sweet- I say. Oh god each day I like Finnick more and more...
He's so handsome and cute and funny.... HE'S PERFECT!!!

-Who's perfect?- Finnick asks with a very confused look.

Dang! Thinking out loud... -Wha... No no one I... I was thinking of... Ught! Why do I mind? Ok, I was thinking about you... I... I lik-

Thats when he takes my hand and looks directly into my eyes...

-I like you too Annie- Finnick finishes for me. Before I could process his words in my head he leans in and kisses me. I don't dought on kissing back, his lips are perfect with mine...
We continue the kiss until none of us had air.
-Or better yet-Finnick says panting a little bit- I love you Annie-

Katniss' POV

-So what if it is our little secret?- Peeta says.
-Sure...- I murmured. -I love you- I said even lower, thank god he didn't hear.
-Then let's go!- I said dragging him with me so he doesn't see my blush.

We ran like two little children playing hide and seek, laughting and having fun until we got to the meadow.The lake looked beautiful today... There was a total silence and it was just the two of us.

We found a good spot and sit. Peeta took out his guitar which I hadn't noticed until now... I guess that love is indeed blind...

-You... You play the guitar?- I asked him.
-Hehe, yes... yes I do- He answers with a shyly smile. He's so cuteee!!

-I... I looked for the notes of the song and I think I could play it while you sing... let's start by that- he said

-Ok, but let me warn you I can't sing- I said before he started playing.

He mouthed 1...2...3...

I used to be so happy but without here I feel so low.
I watched you as you left but I can never seem to let you go-o.
'Cause once upon a time you were my everything, it's clear to see that time hasn't a thing.
It's burried deep inside me but I think there's something you should know.

Peeta looks at me smiling...

Peeta ends the last string and begings to applause.

-You sing amazingly! I loved it!- he says happily.
I'm shocked-Re... really?-
-Yes! You have a very beautiful voice-
-Thanks. But you know you play very good the guitar-
-Haha thank you...For sure we'll win- he says but he stops to think for a moment- Well only for you, I can't really sing -

-Come on Peeta I'm sure you have a great voice- I said.
-Nah... I don't-
-Show me!- I said entusiaticly-Pleaseee!-
-... ughtt... Ok, ok but promise me not to laught-
-You have my word- I said raising my right hand.

He nods and plays the guitar
He took a deep breath and beggan...

Everybody gets hi sometime you know
What else can we do when we're feeling low
So take a deep breath and let it go
You shouldn't be drowning on your own

And if you feel you're sinking
I will jump right over, into Cold cold water for you-u
And althought time may take us into different places
I will still be patient with you-u
And I hope you know

He finishes and stares at his hands.

-That... Was... Awesome!!!- I screamed taking his hands in mine. -Your voice is beutiful! And I really loved the song-
-Thank you-he answeres

He's staring at our hands, but lifted his head and said:

-... In every person I have met I was able to understand who were they, who were they beyond of what they showed... Their true feelings and thoughts... But there was one in my whole life who I couldn't understand... That person is you.
My love for you has blindfolded me, Katniss... I like you. -

WAIT... WHATTTTT???

-You... you do?... Peeta if this is some kind of joke please don't put my expectatives up... I mean it must be, 'cause what would you see in me?... Of course I'm not the dreamed girl you want...- I said holding tears in my eyes.

He stayed silent for two long seconds

-Mmmm... Let's see...
Brave? Check
Witty? Check
Amazing? Check
Righteous?Check
Selfless? Check
Beautiful? Oh boy, Check
Talented? Check
Kind? Check...-

-What are you doing?- I asked

-... Curious? Check- he said with a wink and he continues
-Adorable frekless?Definite Check...
I'm describing my dreamed girl with the same words I'll use to describe you...But everytime I see you I just wonder if this baker is near to be like your dreamed boy...-

-Peeta...-
And with that I didn't need to say more. We stare at each other eyes, until we both lean in and we share a very soft sweet kiss. Our lips syncronized and I feel sparks inside my whole body. My hands move to Peeta's messed hair, and his move to my checks.
I can feel Peeta smiling into the kiss and so do I.
When we break away I there where 4 words I nedded to say
-Peeta I love you-
-I love you too Katniss-

-And I promise to do it properly one day... but... Katniss do you want to be my girlfriend?- he asks with so much hope of a yes in his eyes...

-... Yes! Peeta, I do want to be your girlfriend!- I said crashing my lips to his again...

We practiced for 1 more hour until it was getting late. Peeta said that he wanted to walk me home, and that was totaly ok with me.
When we arrived I gave Peeta a goodnight kiss and get inside Uncle's house. I was living in a dream until....

-KATNISS HARLEY EVERDEEN!!!- If my mom had used my complete name that means I'm in trouble.

-WHERE WERE YOU?? I WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT YOU!! DON'T YOU EVER DO THAT AGAIN!!! WHAT HAPPENED??-
-Mom... please... I'm fine. I was just practicing with a... friend in the meadow our music work...- I said, trying to refer to Peeta as a friend... which obviously I refer him as so much more.
-Friend? A BOY?? KATNISS YOU ARE HERE TO STUDY NOT TO BE THINKING ABOUT BOYS!!! NOW GET TO YOUR ROOM AND SLEEP EARLY TOMORROW YOU HAVE SCHOOL!! HURRY!!!!-

I move as fast as I could out of her sight so I could be in peace at my room... I prepare myself to sleep and checked my phone.

Peeta❤ : Goodnight my Lady. Have nice dreams (specialy if they are with me)
Me: Aww of course I'll see you in my dreams, only if you see me in yours...
Peeta❤: Always
Me: Bye Love you
Peeta❤: Love you too

I shut my phone off and laid on my bed thinking of today's events. I began to fall asleep and my last thought was the fact that today I got my first kiss on the correct moment, exact day, and the perfect guy...
