Descendents of Hogwarts

Chapter 1

"Dad I'm scared." Albus said clutching to his dad's arm. "Well there is nothing to be afraid of, just run through the wall!" Mr.Potter said. Lily was playing with her finger nails and staying close to Mrs.Potter, James was nearby talking to his friends. They never stayed this close to muggles before. "Albus get some courage, and run through the wall, or you might miss the train!" Mr. Potter yelled. "Fine." Albus sighed. Even if James did go through the wall two times Albus never did because Mr.Potter told him one time he and Ron didn't make it through. Albus never came and stayed with his mom. He knew he wasn't going to be a Gryffindor like he wanted to be. He was most likely going to be a Slytherin. Albus nudged his dad and said, "I'm ready." He and Mr.Potter ran and Albus couldn't believe he lived! Mrs.Potter, James, and Lily went through the wall carrying Albus's and James's luggage. James began to tease Albus as they walked to the train. "James! Be nice to your brother!" Their mother called. Lily was glancing longingly at the train. "Bye Lily." Albus said. "Bye Albus." Lily said. Albus and Lily hugged. Albus could see tears in her eyes. "I cannot believe you are going to Hogwarts, I love you so so much Albus." Mrs.Potter said crying. "Um, love you?" Albus said. "Be a seeker for me will you?" Mr.Potter said. " I'll try." Albus said. Mr.Potter hugged his son and said, "Love you." Mr.Potter said. James got and outrageous speech from Mrs.Potter and a goodbye from Mr.Potter and Lily. Finally, they were getting on the train. James sat down with his third-year friends. Albus was trying to find Rose. He didn't really know anyone but Rose and James. He was walking the down the aisle, a large group of girls was surrounding someone. "Excuse me." Albus said frustrated. "Do you know, a girl from America is coming to Hogwarts, she's so funny!" Alice Longbottom said. "Oh hey, Al!" Alice said. "Hi, Alice." Albus said. "It's going to be so weird when my dad teaches me Herbology." Alice said. "See," Alice said waving to her dad from the window. "I bet." Albus said. Albus had met Mr.Longbottom before when they had come for dinner, and Alice was sure nice. He made his way down the aisle and spotted Rose sitting alone. "Hey, Rose." Albus said. "Hello." Rose said. "What're you doing?" Albus said sitting next to her. "Studying." Rose said staring down at a bit of parchment. "Cool." Albus said completely uninterested. So Albus found a seat alone. He fiddled with his wand, played with the hem of his robe, and bought himself some chocolate frogs. It had been an hour or so then a boy opened his door. He had the lightest hair and the most bluest eyes. "Is anybody sitting here?" He asked. "No." Albus said. So he sat down. " I'm Scorpius, Malfoy's son." Scorpius said. "You!" Albus said. "I'm not Malfoy!" Scorpions said madly. "Well, I guess that's true." Albus said. They talked about there parents and how Malfoy and Harry "hated" each other, and bought more candy to last them months, but ate it all up. "I'm stuffed." Scorpius said. "Me too." Albus said. They ended up falling asleep. "Albus!!" Rose said shaking Albus. "Huh!!!" Albus said straightening up. Albus shook Scorpius up. "Gah!!!" Scorpius said. Rose stared at Scorpius. It seemed like forever. "Rose this is Malfoy's son Scorpius, And Scorpius this is my cousin Rose." Albus said awkwardly. "Hi...Rose." Scorpius said, face red. "Hi, Scorpius...." Rose said dreamily. "Um... Let's get going!" Rose said breaking out of her dream like self to her bossy self. Albus, Rose , and Scorpius walked down to the boats together and walked up the path with the others to Hogwarts. It was beautiful. The stone was smooth, and the towers high, the stained glass was even reflecting the moonlight. "Wow," All the first years said. " Hello, I am McGonagall headmaster and Gryffindor head." McGonagall said. "Follow me." She said. The students walked down the ginormous halls and headed down to the grand great hall. All the other years sat down in each house, but the first years stood. "This is the sorting hat, it will decide what house you're in, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, or Hufflepuff..." "My mom was in Hufflepuff!!" Yelled Alice beaming. "Alright then, I will call you up and you will put the hat on, from there on it will decide what house you are in, then sit down with your house." McGonagall said. "Lacy Abbot!" She made her way and move the hat on her head. She looked nervous, her hand shaking as she held the rim of the hat. "Hufflepuff!" The sorting hat called. The Hufflepuff house applaud. Names after name more houses were called. "Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor!!" The sorting hat yelled again and again and again. "Scorpius Malfoy!" The sorting hat called. "Good luck." Albus whispered. "Thanks." Scorpius said. He sat on the stool and slowly lowers the hat in his head. "Gryffindor!!" The hat yelled. Albus was sad, he knew he wasn't going to get the house he wanted, Gryffindor , but Slytherin. "Alice Longbottom!!" The hat called. "Hufflepuff!!" "Yay! Told you father!" Alice said happily. Neville chuckled. She skipped down to Hufflepuff, her dark brown hair drifting behind her. "Albus Potter!!" Albus slowly moved to the hat, all eyes on him. His cheeks burning with embarrassment. He placed the hat on his head. "Please not Slytherin, please not Slytherin." Albus whispered. "You're one of Harry Potter's kids aren't you?" The hat said. "Yes, I am actually." Albus said. "Well sorry kid but, Slytherin!!" The hat yelled. Albus was heartbroken. "Oh my gosh, Albus you're a....." James couldn't even finish without cracking up. "Thanks, James." Albus said sarcastically. He sat down and cupped his face so nobody knew he existed. He felt betrayed, now he was the only one ever in his family to be a Slytherin. Great it was going to be like this for seven years.
