The light of the night shined through the man's window and reflected off the metal object in his hand, and it shook profusely. Yet another tear slipped of the man's face onto the metal object making the light from the full moon seem even brighter. How could the moon shine so bright after what has happened the man thought? How could the moon still seem so happy full of life even? The shirt of the man was on the floor leaving the him just in his gray pants and the object began to twist in the grip of the man, what was he going to do? How could he keep going on like nothing had happen, be strong for someone that needed him oh so much? The creak of the bedroom door started to sound and the small fingers of a child curled around the frame. Daddy, the tiny voice called out, I'm scared and the little boy entered the room headed towards his father. The child was no more then three years old and his birthday is coming, the first one the father was going to have to plan alone without his wife. I want mommy the little boy pleaded to his father as he rapidly approached him, and the object twisting in his hands came to a holt. I want mommy too the father cried back to the small child, he extended his arms to his son and brought the weeping boy to his chest while his heart is threatened to beat right out of his chest. The side of the gun was pressed up against the sons back as the father squeezed the life out of him the only connection he had to his dead wife.

The man got the call from his wife while he was at work, the panic in her voice was so unreal and the urgency for her husband to come get her was clear. She kept repeating over and over that they had found her, that she did everything she was suppose to do but yet they still found her and their son, and she wasn't sure how much time she had left. All the man could say to his wife was calm down that he was coming for her, but she couldn't hear him over the screams of their child and the click of the gun. Voices from every directions told the man that they had all found her, and the phone dropped but the call had not ended. NO! Take me instead let my son be!! Don't you lay a hand on him!! The pleading in her voice was convincing because it was clear that whomever had their son let him go and had turned their attention on the man's wife. Fine then bitch, take off your clothes and lay on the ground now!! Okay okay, she cried back and all the man could do was listen. He was too far away from what was going to happen next so he was forced to listen. The husband heard sounds of slapping and beating and the huffs and puffs from his wife that indicated that she had something covering her mouth probably a hand from one of the assailants. The man had the displeasure of having to hear man after man have their way with his wife as she was finally let to speak and all she said was to not let her son watch, that he had seen enough, that he was too young to see his mother be raped. But with the last part it enraged the men. Raped? Raped? No bitch you like it, you like it a lot. But all there was, was silence, his wife didn't reply. And then, one single shot.

The father held his son as they wept in each othersarms, not knowing what to do, but there was only one thing they could do. Doyou want to be with mommy again? The father asked his son, their son was wellbeyond his years of knowledge and looked up at his father knowing what hemeant, and without hesitation he replied with yes. Come here, the fatherbrought his child close to his chest holding him so tight that he hoped hewouldn't feel a thing, I love you and he pulled the trigger that was held tohis son's head quickly pulling the gun to his head saying a few last words. Here we come baby, and the light of the moon continued to shine in the husbandand wife's bedroom as it welcomed home another two souls. The end.  }J\:
